SX3 Electronic Tool Laser Level is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not every thing I hoped for. See The Slot were the Laser comes out it is VERTICAL ONLY when setting on it's base as shown. If you want a horizontal line the unit must be put on its side were the bubble level are awkward to use. The two big Knobs are not for adjustment they are the battery compartment. The Laser is a line only (No Dot) and at 10 feet it is 3/16 wide already you will have to guess to it's center using a tape mesurer. If only the laser line would rotate to 90 degree detents on the unit or just be a horizontal line sitting on its base I would not have to take it back. Everything looked good in the box tell I used it. the leavening of the unit and the fine ajustment make it easy for VERTICAL jobs only. If your in the business putting wall paper or hanging a picture it would be great. It is not versatilever enought for me. Darn I Like this little unit Too. I hope this save your time.and is helpful to Ya !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from strait line x3 laser level I bought this laser level at Home Depot and i have to say that this is the best money i have ever spent on a tool. I use it for all kinds of remolding jobs and ceramic tile jobs also. You cannotfind another level like this that you can put anywhere you want to put it at and the line be perfect. I took a level and checked the laser lineon it just to see if it was accurate and it was right on the money. As a matter of fact I have purchased 2 more of them for backups but this level has never gave me the first problem. you can go out all day and buy other laser levels but you are wasting your money. The only laser level you need is the x3 laser level. It should have a 10 star rating. I own other laser levels and they cannot compete with this one. I like it also because it shows the laser line in bright light conditions when other levels you buy you have to get the special glasses to see the laser line with. Believe me , go out and buy this level. It is money well spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! I bought this in order to help put some shelves up in my home office. The tool mounted (with included 3m tape) onto a wall and I was able to quickly and easily mark my mounting points. For the shelves, I used two of the three different levels and the tool has a handy micro adjust knob for minute adjustments. I'm no professional, but this was just what I needed! Given a second chance, I'd buy this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nifty gadget...work very well. this vertual leveler works very well and is really handy in my line of work. I paint blocks and stone on walls, and this elimanates the need for a level.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works well but need a better wall attachment than tape or tack. Well it works for its intended purpose but its not as handy when ending to stay on the wall hands free. Tape! Really! My old one that was lost in a fire had a motorized suction that held it to the wall so you could move from point to point with this on you have to apply a tape strip and when you run out? Well run to the store to get more, which is probably what you want so you can buy something else. But it does work, would I buy it again probably not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile level at budget price Bought this level to install new kitchen cabinets during a complete remodel. It worked perfect even around a 90 degree corner. Has good adjustability to compensate for out of plumb and out of square walls, if it could only fix the ceiling. After cabinets were hung, it was used to mark lines for tile flooring where it was needed to keep a consistent line on both sides of a mosaic insert. Looks great!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Laser Level The product works "ok" but I do a lot of painting where I paint strips, etc. & it looses the level in just a few feet. Also if there are any minor bumps in the wall then the level does not adjust properly. I have several different levels & this one just does not measure up. Fortunately I bought it during an end of year sale and only paid 1/2 price for it, so for the price I give it the Fair rating but would not recommend it to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give it fewer stars I would Bought it. It failed to work. Got a replacement. Also didn't work. Third time's a charm? Nope, that either. Not sure what the issue is, but I put off my project three times, plus the trips back and forth to HD. Lost time, effort, and gas. For a hunk of plastic. Yes, it is cheap. But, y'know, a value is only a value ... if it works. And this never did.
