Customer Reviews

Secure Surround Play Safe 30 in. Play Yard-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, if carefully used First, the price, shipping time and service with Home Depot was very good. Now, the product itself is also nice but not perfect. It's high enough to be used for a wide range of babies and toddlers. There is a decent play area inside (size-wise) and if carefully formed a diamond shape, it's strong enough to support itself from not beign pushed down by strong toddlers. Cons: The fence design inside is bad, these are small egg-shaped holes and they are not smooth. The edges of the fence are very sharp, need architectural design change here. Kids can get real hurt, if they fell down (from standing up) and they hit on the edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from if it's still on sale, don't wait! this item is great. we got it on sale and are so happy we did. At the regular price it is still worth it, but it's nice to finally find a deal for something baby related (as I say: if it's for a baby they add a 0 to the price tag) details they do not mention: each of the 6 sections measures 30"X30" there is a 2" gap between the sections if straight, and 1" if at 90 degrees (ours is in a rectangle)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best buy ever I purchased two sets of the play yard to have at my house when the twins came to visit. I had it delivered to my daughter's house so she could use it there too. She loves it. It is used every day. Sometimes just one set, there is room for the twins (now 10 months old) and their big bucket of toys. Sometimes both sets so there is plenty of room for the twins, mom and dad along with the toys. The kids love it. They have plenty of room and don't seem to notice that they are actually confined. It's a good sized yard to them. It also sets up and comes apart easily. It's sturdy, they are both pulling up now and it's not a problem at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Secure Surround Play Safe Play Yard The height was good. The material is sturdy, but if used in a rectangular shape (two panels for the sides and one panel on each end) the two side panels move more easily then desired. The joints are not designed to hold steady unless used in an octagon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Product--Best Price I searched several websites and stores for a play yard before making this purchase and found this to be the best value for the price. The exact same product was being sold through a popular child-products catalog, only they tacked on an extra $30+ big box fee! The play yard provides a roomy and safe space for my 9-month old son, myself, and occasionally the dog to play. It's also great to block off partial spaces like fireplaces and entertainment centers. The only negative is that I haven't been able to collapse all the panels yet---just a few don't bend completely flat for some reason. I'm hoping that I just need to adjust something and that this problem can be resolved. Overall very happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You will not regret it!!!!! I needed to separate my two puppies - (divide my apartment in half - I don't believe in crate training) they are big so I needed a high enough separator with durability and easy handling. Amen. You will get it with the secure surround 30in. Thank you God for showing me this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serves the purpose Using this to contain a dog. In this case the product is not connected as a circle, but the panels are stretching across a door opening that is quite wide. The dog has attempted to scoot around the end, but failed to squeeze through--several tries and she has given up. We also have cats. They were not meant to be contained by the device and have found exactly where to push the panel edge to make a path for themselves. The dog (a German Shepherd) watched them and tried to use the same path and found it was too narrow. If this dog was more motivated it could defeat the use, but she gets the message and doesn't try to find other ways to overcome the obstacle. Hence it's serving our purpose, but can't say it would solve your problem.
