In less than a year this microwave started sparking on the inside. The wave guide cover scorched and burned - the inside of this microwave is toast and the microwave is now useless.
I installed this in a kitchen that is rarely used and I doubt this microwave saw much more than a few minutes of warming coffee. It looked great and worked fine for the first 11.5 months. But I have to give it very poor ratings for quality and value. Something used so infrequently should not have simply burned up so fast.

Had to return the first one because it made a really loud noise when it was running. The return was really easy and ordered a replacement the same day. Easy to install in my new kitchen and looks really good built in under the cabinet. The replacement works beautifully and really like it. It's smaller that my old one but I was limited on space. Seems to do everything I need it to do.

I was looking for a microwave to install under-counter in a 16-in depth cabinet. This is the only model I found that fit the bill, but despite the lack of choice I am really happy with this unit. It not only looks great, but has almost every feature I would look for in a microwave, such as control lockout and a timer than can run at the same time as cooking. It also has some fancy features such as 2-stage cooking and adjustable popcorn cook time. The only feature I miss from my last microwave is "sensor reheat", which actually measures temperature for optimal reheating, but I think Sharp is the only manufacturer with it. Overall great unit.

Great price. Fits into a 24 inch cabinet. The trim looks fantastic and feels durable. Visitors always ask about it. No frills and a little less juice than other ovens but that just means cooking stuff for an extra thirty seconds or so. It's quiet too. Before purchasing, we talked to someone else who's had one for 18 months, with heavy use, and she loves it and has had no problems.

We designed our kitchen without looking into the cost of an undercabinet microwave. To my surprise the cost was outrageous. Sharp was the most cost effective that I could find but I saw a lot of negative feedback on quality and performance. This microwave does not have alot of fancy bells and whistles but it works great and most importantly my wife is happy and I saved $1000.00. Is a win-win for both of us!

You wouldn't know it didn't belong next to the 1965 Tappan that it sits with. Went together in 15 minutes and installed in another 10-15. Great solution for a smaller unit and looks like it's been there forever. And seriously you would guess this thing cost $750 by how good it looks installed. $230 delivered. Boom!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tommy Summit built-in microwave
This was the lowest price and best value I could find for a built-in microwave that came with the trim. I like that it reminds you every so often if you forget to remove whatever you heated up and I love the way it looks installed. A couple of things I don't like are that it doesn't have a one touch feature and the trim came with a small cosmetic defect.

This unit was easy to install. Works great. I would recommend this unit. Great for heating up left overs and small dishes.
