Answer:
Only on the very bottom shelf so you could only store 3 bottles of champagne, see my review for more info.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The standard shelving this unit ships with does not have adequate spacing for holding champagne bottles, although the slotted floor can store three bottles. You can also remove every other shelf (startingwith the top shelf located just under the control panel) and store three champagne bottles on each shelf, adding up to a 12 champagne bottle capacity.

Probably thermostat will keep temperature at a low of the mid 40's, but you should read my review before considering this

Thank you for your question. The temperature range of this wine cellar is 41º to 64ºF, so it may be appropriate for certain types of craft beer designed to be stored and served at warmer-than-average-refrigerator temperatures.

15 in. 33-Bottle Built-In Wine Cooler is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware Quit working after 3 years due an evaporator leak that had been going on for some time, had to be a manufacturing defect. Cost to repair was in excess of the price of a new one. Further parts were not readily available even if you wanted to repair it. Got nowhere with their customer service department. I have never experienced a worse run around as I got with them. I guess their mentality is that you will get frustrated with them and just go away. What a way to run a business. I would steer clear of Summit Appliance. The attached picture shows how bad the leak was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summit - 33 Bottle Built-In Wine Cooler (15") I purchased this wine fridge to replace my in-law's old fridge and they absolutely love it. It looks great, has a great design, and was really easy to setup. Another good thing to note about this Summit fridge is that it comes with a 1 year warranty on everything and a 5 year warranty on the compressor (which is typically the first thing to break on appliances like this) so this appliance should last for years to come.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too early to say for sure Have had the unit installed for about a week. Looks good and fit great into a space that used to have a trash compactor. Seems to run a lot. Hopefully it will stand the test of time and not break down. Some of the previous reviews have me concerned but I purchased the unit anyway since its dimensions were the best fit for my space. Also pourchased the extended warranty...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful wine cellar Bought two of these units to install in a 30-inch wide former cabinet space. Dimensions were spot on. Had to change the door swing direction on one unit. It was pretty easy to do, but one step is left out of the instructions. I was able to figure it out eventually. These are sharp looking cellars. They have been operating for about 1 month with no issues. Some have complained about noise, but no different than any other compressor. I was able to get 5 bottles on one shelf, so theoretically 33 bottles will fit. But with the varying shapes and sizes of bottles, the actual capacity for me was 28 bottles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, quet cooler We will soon be "empty nesters" and wanted to convert the teen room into an upscale entertaining area and convertible office. The small alcove at one end of our basement provided the perfect area for new built-in cabinetry with a wine fridge. Compliments to Summit for delivery where Danby was unable to ... three times! Summit packed the fridge carton (well-cushioned) in another outer box for shipping to give the added protection against usual bumps and dings from handling a 150lb item during transit. (I had to refuse shipment of a Danby three times because damage to the carton transferred major damage to the fridge.) The Summit cooler fit perfectly in the space, is quiet and keeps the exact temperature. Nice finally to have wine at the recommended "cellar" temperature! Delivery to the Home Depot store also was a plus, since I could not take any more time from work to wait for the trucking company. Pickup notification and instructions were very well communicated, seamless, and an associate helped me load it. The design complements perfectly the granite countertop, Home Depot Lyndhurst Cabernet cabinetry, and Brickweb Boston Mill thin brick to give the area a wine-cellar feel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sharp-looking unit, a few minor quibbles Unit was very easy to set up and put in place. It looks great and the quality seems very high. My two quibbles are that it seems to cycle on and off in frequent, short cycles that are a bit noisier than I'd like (but nothing terribly offensive), and the height of the shelves makes getting certain bottles in there difficult. I feel like they are just a few mm short of accommodating a wider variety of bottles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Great I recently purchased the Summit SWC1535B to replace an old trash compactor that came with my house. The Summit is a good looking appliance and very easy to install. The dimensions were true and fit well into the 15x35 space. The appliance is surprisingly light which makes it easy to install but also moves around a lot when the doors are opened. I am still trying to find a way to secure it in place. The appliance is quiet and easy to use. The internal light only illuminates the top shelf and doesn't create a very attractive or dramatic appearance when lit. The biggest disappointment is that the trays are too close together and don't fit large bottles. The top tray won't even fit average bottles and the middle trays will only fit average bottles if you force the bottle in. The trays are not adjustable and so we are stuck trying to find a wine with a very slender bottle to fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thought it was nice but then ... I bought a prior version of this fridge (same size and features). It worked well for about 3 years, although it occasionally turned off. We would just turn it back on. Then it stopped turning back on for more than 20 minutes or so. The likely diagnosis was a problem with the electronic "board." Nobody services Summit. The one repair company that did could not get any response from the people at Summit as to whether they make replacement boards. So the lesson is that you should assume that you unit will eventually break down and your recourse is to throw it away and buy a new one (not from Summit).
