It looks great and is not very loud. Here are the drawbacks:the dual zone is stupid because you can only set the top for whites and the bottom for reds because of the temperature limitations. The wood shelving is to close together so if your bottle is not standard cab style it will rip the label. Don't even try to fit a Burgundy (pinot) bottle or Champagne bottle without completely removing shelving. I have a few Magnums and had to remove shelving for that as well. When all said and done I have 3 shelves removed. I have to get another wine fridge for just my thicker bottles.

The outside is beautifully designed but completely impractical due to its noise level when operating. Second it's constantly trying to keep the temperature accurate causing it to constantly to be working.
The shelves are not well built and vary in construction. The wine cooler itself is freestanding and doesn't allow to be built-in.
I'm probably going to return it or replace when it breaks down and purchase a sub zero 427R as a replacement.
Unless this going in a basement or garage don't purchase it for your home.

Dual zone feature is nice and works well. Other comments about odd bottle sizes are true, but you can remove a shelf which solves the problem and allows you to stack bottles two rows high, so no loss of capacity. Lock location is not ideal, but works.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TampaSam Beware, your summit wine cooler will not last more than 18 months!!
On my second unit and for the most part, my wine is ruined. First unit failed 13 months (you guessed it, 1 year warranty). The company had no sympathy that it was only one month past and our appliance repair company declined to work on it, warning that the bill would be high and they have had trouble getting parts. Since i had a build in space to this dimension, i chalked it up to bad luck and ordered another one. I also though i was smart, and purchased an extended 3 year warranty. 14 months into the second unit (yes, really!!) it stopped cooling again. this time, the warranty company came and tired to fix it. the manufacturer told them to replace the control board. they ordered parts and it took 8 weeks (so my wine sat in a cooler that didn't cool). Once they repaired it (which required removing the wine), apparently the unit had also frozen and it drained condensate on our floors, ruining them. Once we put the wine back in, it stopped cooling again almost immediately. The other complaints about the racks being cheap and sagging and the configuration not really fitting 150 bottles are also valid, but i suspect those user have not had their unit for long.

Home Depot exceeded any and all expectations with this product. The install and demo were great, all the features and uses of this wine cabinet are perfect. Great job...

Great product. Additional blue LED lighting adds to style. Lots of room and maintains dual temp zones very well. Great size for larger wine fridge.
