Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is perfect for me. I am 62 years old with a bad back and neck. I have used it and loved it. Easy button! No chords to pull, no chords to mow in half, no gas to spill! Made to order for a senior grandma who enjoys tending to her yard. Easy to start and stop and light weight. I leave the battery on the mower when I charge it. Push it right up to the outlet and plug it in. Thank you. Home Depot is the best! Especially the new one off of Sixes Road. The sales agent sat with me and we did the research on which mower would be best for me. They also assembled it and delivered it and gave me a demo of how to operate it. Such perfect customer service. July 23, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 1/2 - 1 Acre? I chose this mower primarily on the "Size of Yard:1/2 - 1 Acre" rating since I have a 0.97 acre lot. The battery lasted a little over an hour and wasn't close to done with 1/4 of the yard, moving at its recommended self-propelled pace. After charging back to full and going back out the next day I had the same result, with now maybe 1/3 of the yard completed. It's a decent mower, but lacks the longevity I would expect from its rating. September 13, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product a Grandma can use! I haven't mowed a lawn in over 20 years, so getting back into yard work was daunting. I bought this electric mower for ease of use. It is so easy to use, very lightweight, and the I love that it is self-propelled. I don't have to worry about buying gas and oil, I don't have to pull the cord to start it. It mows my whole yard in one charge. The battery is heavy, so the fact that I can charge it while still in the mower is so helpful. July 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use. Love it! We love this mower. Very easy to push and It's perfect for our medium sized yard. We are also impressed that we don't have to empty the bag several times before we're done. October 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good performance so far, three cuts PRO: Battery Life is ample for our yard. We cut 45 minutes and the indicator was still in the green. Qualifier, I use the next to highest setting and cut the grass, St Agustine, fairly often during active growing season. Later in the summer, our longish grass is hardier, drought resistant and grows slowly. I may cut 2x a month in late summer. Thicker grass and/or lower setting adds resistance to the blades and will certainly reduce your battery life. Self-Propel is a comfortable walking speed and I am a fairly slow walker with short legs. Starts are smooth and power propel seems as strong as my old gas mower. Very Quiet, No fuel smell, no oil or gas to pour or spill, just pour a cold beverage aftewards. Battery removal and reinstallation is very easy, but this can be a con. Remove the battery before turning the mower on its side as the battery will likely fall out and may damage the power cord connection. Super simple controls, no assembly, comfortable grip, easy handle bar height adjust and single lever height adjustment round out the pros. Cons While grass mulching seems good, the mower does not mulch tree leaves at my desired height. Maybe I can reduce the height and create more vacumn? Battery is heavy and is not attached, just slides into a shallow slot. The most problematic con was poor packaging. The battery is poorly secured. A few zip ties would solve this problem. The mower arrived with a hole in the box where the battery had slipped from its perch and moved around a good bit, tearing cardboard in the process. The problem with dropping or hitting a lead acid battery means potential decrease to the life of the battery. I saved the packing and will submit a claim near the expiration of the generous claim period should the battery fail to keep a full charge. April 10, 2012
