50 gal. Garden Composter is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Worms, no deal I've got my doubts whether this Composter will ever work for us. We bought one but I noticed that the kitchen scraps take forever to decompose and visited our local composting centre (Courtenay, BC). They've been testing several Composters on their site and were very helpful with info etc. I ended up buying one of their recommended models for $45 and have since been using it. It instantly attracted earth worms since it stands on the soil and the whole natural process seems to work well. I've even gone so far as to take some worms and add them to our Sunmar Green Drum Composter, but the process just seems extremely slow and requiring lots of intervention.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would buy the larger model. It seems to compost well and quickly, with it's feed-through method. There is no issue with shovelling out the compost from the back corner, like stationary composters. Unfortunately, it's quite heavy to rotate. I would advise buying the larger model, which has a hand crank.
