Product Overview

The Sun-Mar Centrex 3000-NE is an extra-high capacity unit designed for very heavy cottage use or heavy residential use. The Centrex 3000-NE is a non-electric unit for those with no continuous 110-Volt power supply. All Sun-Mar composting toilets incorporate a patented Bio-drum which ensures fast and odorless decomposition. Saves thousands of gallons of water, while recycling waste into soil. The unit is shipped fully assembled. A one pint flush toilet is required for use with this unit (sold separately). Seasonal capacity: 8 adults or families of 10. Residential use: 5 adults or families of 7. A waterless option is available for this system. This configuration requires the separate purchase of the Sun-Mar Dry toilet and the Sun-Mar A/F Waterless kit.

Customer Questions & Answers

Can you connect two toilets to this central composter system? How long does it take to cycle a waste compartment load into humus?

We intend to complete our off-grid farm house renovation with a composter toilet system, but need two toilets. (Yes, we are a multi-generation household with small children and elderly parents who CANNOT stand in line waiting to use a single toilet...) I want a high-capacity single unit, non-electric, waterless, with two-toilet capability. Please provide additional information and/or website link for same. Thank you!

If you use a waterless toilet, it will need to be a direct drop down into a composter. Therefore, you will not be able to use two toilets for one composter. You can, however look at using a low-flush 1 pint flush toilet with this unit. This can handle multiple toilets connected to one 3000 composter.
