Can this be a add on to a 6 foot mat for smaller places in bathroom under ceramic tiles

Asked by: Dale
If the area is no less than the smallest size in warmwire sold about 17 sq.. The heating wire cannot be cut so you need to bunch it up properly in the same area at least 2 inch spacing between the wire.

cable availability

I am picking up all of my mats at the store today, but the cable has to be shipped. it would arrive 3 days after my flooring is going in, any way to get it faster or substitute with different wire? We are going to wire multiple mats to a thermostat (not exceeding 150sf) and read that the mats can't be wired together... so we need the extra spool of wire to have each mat reach thermostat.
Asked by: tile101
You can use 12 gauge electrical wire to extend the power leads on each mat. The best way to do this is to route each power lead to a junction box, and to make sure to follow any local codes. Sincerely, SunTouch
