Product Overview

This floor warming kit makes radiant floor heating installation quick, easy and economical. It will provide heat to warm the floors and help keep bathroom, kitchen and entryway floors dry and safe. This kit includes a 120-volt floor heating cable that measures 195 lin. ft. long and covers a 50 sq. ft. area. Also included are cable straps, double sided tape and an installation manual.

Answer: 
The HeatingWire and TapeMat products are only approved for being installed above the subfloor and right below your tile. These products must be completely embedded in modified thin-set or self-leveler or the cable will be damaged. The only product approved for going between the joists underneath of the subfloor is the UnderFloor mat.
