SnapStone ceramic tile does not have quickset or any similar cement, so it would sit directly on top of the warming mat.

Answer:
No, always use a standard breaker, as a GFCI breaker can conflict with the thermostat.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Luke warm I bought this floor heating mat for my guest bathroom because I have one under the floor in my master bath. Turns out the one I bought from Home Depot is very weak, and it barely warms the floor. I should have bought the same kind as my master bath, but it is only sold through big tile suppliers, so I thought the Home Depot option was easier. WRONG May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great! Excellent product. Easy to install. Works great in my bathroom. April 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suntouch Works great floor is nice warm would highly recommend this to others March 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great value Good product, exactly what I expected when product arrived. Quality and versatility are up to par with more expensive products on the market. Highly recommend this product. January 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom floor warming mat Remodeled our bathroom and we put the Sun Touch Floor Warming mat underneath our ceramic tile floor and we love it. You can feel the warmth within minutes of turning it on. We have a control that you can adjust the temperature and program it to go on and off anytime so you're not wasting electricity when no one is home. December 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great addition to a new remodel Installation is a little tricky - thin set goes over mat then tile goes down. Takes a little practice to get the thickness just right. So nice to walk on a warm tile floor in Winter. December 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good product Must read instructions to ensure proper installation and type thin set to be used for tile August 11, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Bought this brand mainly because of the price, variety of sizes and availability at Home Depot. Was really looking forward to heated floors, but have been very disappointed. It takes several hours to warm floors at the max setting and even then it doesn't get very warm (manufacturer claims 20-45 minutes). We installed it in two different bathrooms and the results were similar in both. Also, we didn't buy the programmable control, so it's useless in the morning unless we leave it on all night. In the end, we spent over $1,000 and got something to show-off to friends, but not much else. It you're going to get this, I would probably recommend getting the programmable thermostat and buying a bigger size sheet then you actually need. February 12, 2015
