Product Overview

Durably constructed from die-cast metal, the mixer comes equipped with a 350-Watt motor for effortless mixing at any speed, and its heavy-duty accessories are color-coded for quick, easy insertion. For added convenience, the stand mixer's free-spinning bowl amps up overall efficiency, while its 4.6 Qt. off-center bowl means minimal scrapping necessary. This makes it especially convenient if your recipe calls for gradually adding eggs or flour mixtures or incorporating delicate ingredients towards the end of mixing. All this without the hefty price tag (competitive models are typically 2 to 4 times as much).

The specs indicate metal construction, but not specifically to the operating components. Also: Is it possible to order the 2.2 QT smaller stainless steel bowl when ordering the mixer?

Heritage 12-Speed Stand Mixer in Seafoam Green is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 105.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from You wont regret your purchase 13 years ago my mother in law bought me the stand mixer hertiage edition. Sadly due to fault of my own I had damaged the cord. I had heared all the rave about the kitchen aid mixers so I bought one, and let me just say it in NO WAY replaces my sunbeam. Even with the short in the cord I am using it over the new kitchen aid. Everytime I use the kitchen aid I am disappointed and upset that I ever spent that kind of money on the product. The sunbeam Hertiage series give the best results of any I have ever used. You just absolutely can not go wrong with this product. I use the mixer daily on from scratch recipes and make large quanities. It is hands down a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Performance I have had my Heritage Stand Mixer for over four years and no matter what I do with my mixer from simple cake mixes or bread dough, it totally preforms! It does for me what my last mixer couldn't handle! I recommend this mixer for all recipes and the price was definitely worth it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this is a request for help, not a review hi Sunbeam, I bought this machine from a friend and just used it to make banana bread. I like it and it seems to work just fine, including the bowl turns as I'd expect. Not sure what those are talking about that says it doesn't turn! Anyway, I can't get the righthand (square) beater out and I can't find anywhere on the web that explains how to get it out. Please help!!! I would expect it to be intuitive and the other one did come out... how do I do it?? Anyone feel free to jump in and let me know!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice mixer for the cost $$$ I bought this mixer in Tangerine. I also got a Heritage hand mixer in silver. Both work perfect for anything most people would use this for. It is not a commercial mixer like some expect. But 99% of us don't use it like that anyway. We make cookies, cake, maybe mashed potatoes. And as far as I am concerned it has always met my expectations. So I do recommend this mixer, and the colors are a cool touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mixer Love the green color, works very well. Powerful. This is replacing same model that I loved but died because of my error-- not fault of mixer. -Happy with the new replacement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great mixer! I really had fun using this mixer! It's nice to just put everything in the bowl and let the machine do the work! The mixer seems to be very sturdy, is easy to use, and is aesthetically pleasing! I love the red color, and it has a very retro feel. I did have to scrape down the sides occasionally, but it wasn't a big deal, so that doesn't bother me. I've never used a stand mixer before, so I can't compare the performance to other mixers, but I thought it was great! I did receive this mixer as a sample to review, so I can't really say how I feel about it from a value perspective, either, but the price seems reasonable to me. Overall, I loved it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working, no Syncronized bowl & beater Used it once, beaters clanked together, had to keep taking apart, then they locked up and one beater no longer turns at all. Box claimed bowl and beaters were synchronized but they absolutely are not. Very disappointed. Still under warranty but not sure I trust this model anymore since several others have also reviewed the beaters stop working, One claimed he took his apart and it was plastic inside, not "die-cast metal" as advertised on the box. Seems like a piece of junk. Glad I kept my old one, that still works, I thought I was upgrading my mixer when I bought this piece of garbage. Obviously I was wrong.
