Now, the lid on mine had pre-assembled parts. These were poorly done and I had to un-screw add glue and re-screw these portions. The Suncast Backyard Oasis resin vertical deck box model VDB19500 is considered to be weather resistant with a stay-dry design concept.
The stay-dry concept involves ventilation made available through the method of snap-together panel assembly as well as the overhanging lid that prevents rain from coming in.

The stay dry concept involves ventilation available through the method of overlapping, snap together panel assembly as well as the overhanging lid that prevents rain from coming in. In addition, if assembled correctly with all snaps secured, temperature should not affect this product. However, caution should be used so as not to damage parts that are more pliable in extreme heat, which might lead to warping, and more rigid in extreme cold, when accidents could cause cracking of parts more easily.

Frambuesas I had the same issue and had to work with the older version instructions. I did not receive all the hardware for the lid and had to call them. They did work with me and sent out all the hardware needed. A real pain but now that it is finished it looks and works great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oraganized My Deck We purchased two-one for each side. Really organized our deck. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I just wrote this big review and lost it! I just wrote one of the best product reviews ever... but somehow it got lost while I was trying to attach pictures. Home Depot had the best price! I measured and configured our Pottery Barn cushions (Extra-Large) and this was the only box that fit them all (except one cushion). 6 bottom cushions and 3 back cushions all fit. Buy it. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by big box I purchased this storage box to fit my thick outdoor furniture cushions. It easily fit, the 4 love seat cushions, 2 chair cushions, 1 chaise cushion and 8 dining chair seat cushions, along with a few pillows. If the box was just 2 inches wider, I could have also fit my second chaise lounge cushion. However, this was the largest box on the market and the way the top and doors open, it is very easy to load and unload. Also easy to put together. June 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for outdoor furniture cushion storage Great for outdoor furniture cushion storage. So far, no problems with water leakage. Fairly easy to assemble by following the step by step instructions. Be sure that you do not overtighten the screws since they are going into the plastic. Much better price than found at Lowes. June 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Easy assembly only need screwdriver very happy with product Keeps cushions dry even with hard rain Looks nice on patio April 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Deck Box - Excellent purchase! This was the second one I purchased. The first one I purchased for the lake and this is the 2nd summer in the heat and blazing sun and it still looks great. I highly recommend this deck box. Large enough to store several lounge chairs, cushions and a lot of other stuff needed on the deck. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal for Cushion Storage It was a gift to family member and they are thrilled! Relatively easy to assemble (needs two people). Looks good on the patio and holds all the cushions from a patio conversation set (love seat, arm chairs, etc.). We'll see how it stands up through winter weather. Right now, all's good August 23, 2016
