I chose this shed because it is pretty compact, yet it has space for shelves for storage above the floor. I store 2 folding tables, 8 folding chairs, a small metal firepit, 2 beach chairs, and other miscellaneous items in it.
Since I didn't want to place it on my patio, I built a wooden platform per the instructions in the manual. If you want to get a head start on this, you can download the instructions from the Suncast website ahead of time and get started before your shed actually arrives at your house. Building the platform and getting it level and stable actually took longer than building the shed.
Building the shed was straightforward, but I agree with others that the instructions on how to attach the hinges to the walls was not explained well. The bolt should be preinstalled in the hinge since it's easier to put it on if you do that first. Then you snap the hinge onto the designated spot on the edge of the wall, and tighten the bolt until it grabs tight to the plastic wall. If it's not grabbing it tight, then you did it wrong. :/ Attaching the bolts that secure the front edge of the roof was a bit of a guessing game also, but we got it figured out.
The plastic assembly bolts and tool provided in the package work just fine as long as you don't overtighten them. They don't need to be cranked down tight! I had my son helping me. It's much easier if you have an assistant to hold the first wall piece in place while you manipulate the second one etc.
Installing a shelf actually improves the structural rigidity of the walls a bit, but I still would not lean anything very heavy against them. If you need a shed that can handle decent forces pushing against the inside of the walls, you probably want to build something out of wood instead of hollow plastic. That said, I did go off-book and add two additional screws to my shelf to secure it to the back wall. That ought to help prevent the back wall from bowing outward, helping to better support the shelf and helping maintain the shape of the shed.
This shed is not very theft-deterrent, even with a lock. If securing the contents from theft is a primary concern, again, you should be getting something more substantial than hollow plastic.
Overall, the shed went together pretty easily, and I'm happy with its construction. I expect to get several good years of service from it.

This was a very easy assembly and a very practical size for all my garden tools. i have a larger shed for my large items, like my mower, so this was the perfect solution for storing all those misc. rakes, shovels and spades. My only disappointment was that there are no accessories for this shed to hang tools, but I went to Home Depot and purchased a couple of tool hanging bars and they worked great.

A little on the "light" side. will definitely need weight in it to keep it from blowing away. The directions/diagrams were poor, at best. took a lot of creativity to assemble.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TH Poor quality, poor customer service
I was thrilled with this shed for about 2 weeks. The side panels began to warp and bow causing the door hinges to detach and the shelves to fall. I contacted Suncast and was asked to provide pictures. I received an email blaming my foundation (a concrete and brick courtyard) for the problem. I was given 'sorry for the inconvenience, thank you for contacting us.' You are throwing your money away if you purchase this shed. This review is against Suncast, not Home Depot.

The assembly instructions were missing.
Went online, found them. Instructions are not very clear, took more time than I wanted to spend. They want you to build a very specific wood or concrete foundation for this shed - much more time still. Just ok when done

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AuntieAnnie Instructions are not detailed enough
Putting up the sides and bottom were easy but figuring out the hinges was a nightmare. The instructions were not detailed enough and did not indicate that you have to put the screw through the hinge as tightly as possible because it essentially just tightens around the plastic. I still have one bottom hinge that is not screwed in properly. On the roof, I could not figure out for the life of me how to insert the metal roof support so it's just sitting there in the corner! Other than that, considering I'm a short 63 yr. old woman it was physically not too hard to do. I just wish the directions had been more detailed. It does fit very nicely on my Condo patio.
