I would assume it is polycarbonate -- pretty tough stuff. it is colored a dark amber, so if your looking for untinted, you may have to call Suncast and ask the material type and ask if they would sell clear replacement panes.

Answer:
You should really prepare a sub floor for the whole shed to keep the walls, roof , doors square. The resin floor is only an inch or so thick. A well prepared sub floor will far exceed the weight of your mower.

Answer:
Personally I think it can be insulated against cold to a certain level but not sub zero. It is not doing well to insulate heat at all, since the temperature inside can go up quickly even though the outside temperature is not as high as the inside.

I guess its possible, you would have to probably glue the insulation on the inside of the shed (outside of the walls) But lots of windows that are only thin Plexiglas so not sure what you would gain out of it.

Not easily. There are no insets in the wall panels so you'd be cutting down the size of the storage area in the shed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great shed for the money Good quality, nice looking shed. A little challenging to assemble however. August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good shed but more info. on the web site would have been helpful This is a good shed however the description didn't say if the windows opened or not. I would have preferred a shed with windows that opened. It said they were vented, whatever that means. It took a while just to get the windows in too. Definitely have the surface level when putting it up. It didn't go together well at first but our foundation wasn't level. Even after leveling the base the roof had to be clamped down in order to attach it to the roof supports. August 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking shed The shed looks great and has more then enough room, it took me a little longer to assemble then some of the reviews. The only problem I had was with the door closure. There is not any adjustment with the hinges, make sure the area at the front of the shed at the threshold is level with no high points. The Windows went together ok with two people you don't need any adhesive or tape looks like they had a design change that holds the gaskets in place. February 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Suncast BMS 8000 shed good sized shed. looks nice also. level platform or flooring is the key. otherwise a roof panel at an uneven spot can be harder to fasten from the inside. So, level AND flat surface with no humps or bumps along the way. already survived the first tropical storm with no leaks. make sure wooden platform, if used, is the right length and width. and definitely attach it to the wooden base with the lag screws. slides around otherwise. definitely go easy on the screws. easy to strip. seemed easier to strip on those that went into the roof pieces. I put it together with no help. 2 or more people for some parts are recommended but but can be figured out if you are short handed. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice shed - good value Delivered free right to our curb, which was really nice. The shed went together easily, following the instructions. Everything fit well and lined up correctly. The windows make it look more attractive and the heavy window tint protects your belongings from the sun (and prying eyes). We did not build the recommended foundation. Instead we prepared a gravel site with very small size gravel on top to make sure the site was level and the floor would have good support. We used 12" nails to secure the shed floor to the ground, per the instructions. The provided floor feels very solid. We don't get much rain and the gravel site is packed hard and well drained so we are not worried about shifting in wet weather. Overall we like this shed very much and feel it represents a great value. May 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I really like my new Resin Storage Shed RECOMMENDATIONS: If building a pressure treated platform, the shed is 7 feet wide and 10 feet 8 inches long!! The directions are not that user friendly. Line up your panels according to the directions. Line up your roof according to directions. Be careful with the tan plastic Panel Connector Pins, the tops break very easily. Each end roof panel is difficult to put in grooves. Definitely do the windows first, they are the hardest and most time consuming to do. The shed alone takes a lot longer to assemble than stated as the window part is the most time consuming. Total time, including building the platform took approximately 10-12 hours so plan accordingly. Luckily all parts were there and even had some extras. Finished shed looks nice, I just wish they had it in gray also. Also, if having platform, make sure you screw the floor panels to the platform. May 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Myself and our neighbors love it The look and function is super. Really like the plastic floor, double doors and numerous windows. Set up was fairly straight forward. Foundation took a good day to do. Still need to use plywood (3/4 inch or better) for a flat base. Spent a few hours sorting parts and putting windows together then the majority of the next day building with the help of my 14 year old son. Roof was a little tricky, the kit was a few screws short and we had to be creative a time or two but it all came together beautifully. I seldom review "Excellent" but this came close. Even the Home Depot delivery driver was superb. Now, only time will tell how well it holds up. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Alpine resin storage shed The shed was very easy to assemble with just two people, me and my wife. Once assembled, the shed was so spacious my 10 foot break, a riding mower, and all my other equipment fit and I am very happy. May 17, 2016
