Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mickie Great deck storage!
Really like to additional storage space this unit provides for our deep seating deck cushions! It is sturdy and a good size for ample space. Needed a 2nd person to help with assembly at times but wasn't very difficult to do. Did majority myself and was a gift for my husband for the backyard! My only wish was that is was offered in a white color.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kallen Very durable, looks great, and easy to put together!
The product was very easy to put together from the instructions provided. It only takes about 40 minutes to put together. It holds up very well against the elements. I recently experienced severe weather day after day a week ago, and everything inside remained dry!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LSUJeff Awesome, durable, good looking giant deck box
We had a ton of kids pool toys and rafts spread out all over the yard. We searched for something big enough to hold toys and rafts without having to deflat them, and wasn't an eye sore. This deck box arrived in a pretty compact box, and was pretty easy to assemble; it took about 30 minutes with just a screw driver and a pair of pliers. The box is huge on the inside, but blends in nicely tucked away in a nook under our 2nd floor deck on the pool deck. The great thing is how the top raises up and stays up due to the shocks, AND it has two doors that open up in the front, making it really easy to get to everything. Well worth the purchase, and I may buy another one for the topside of the deck to hold cushions, etc.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 A terrific addition to our deck...
The Vertical Deck Box is a terrific addition to our deck. I have assembled and owned a number of these types of outdoor storage products, and this was the best designed and sturdiest one I have used. The instructions were actually quite easy to follow, and other than a tiny bit of difficulty getting one of the hinge screws started, the project went together without a hitch.
In use, the box has a tremendous amount of storage space, and is much easier to organize than a traditional "footlocker" type of box. With the double front doors and the hinged lid, you can get to most anything in seconds, even when the box is chock full. So far it is completely water-tight, despite some drenching rains, and it's heavy enough that I'm not worried about it blowing away like some of the lighter products might.
Would I buy it again? Actually, i think I just may--we constantly find more "stuff" we want close at hand when we're relaxing on the deck.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Trish Large sectional cushions? Read this!
I have a 4 piece curved sectional on my patio and each bottom cushion (4 of them) was a pie-shaped cushion 45" wide by 27" deep and 3" high. I searched thru all the regular deck boxes, none would work, and then a previous reviewer turned me on to the vertical deck box...I can't thank her enough! Not only do all my bottom cushions fit in perfectly, I was able to get all the back and bottom pillows from my 4-piece table in, plus 8 pillow backs from my sectional and several toss pillows with room to spare. I was afraid it would be too tall but it's just a foot higher than my table...it looks beautiful! And weatherwise it's been through 3 major rainstorms and all the cushions remained bone dry. I also bought a matching 70 cu. ft. Suncast deck box to hold all the extra pillows I have (I like loading up the sectional with colorful pillows) so I'm all set. If you have a sectional with large pie-shaped cushions this is the answer to your prayers! Assembly wasn't too difficult as all the pieces were lettered so you knew what went where...we didn't use a mallet...my boyfriend just used his foot to secure the pieces together. ( The 70 cu. ft. deck box wasn't as easy as none of the pieces were labeled. )

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AlisoninTX Very Stylish, Durable Deck Box Offering the Greatest Capacity, Most Features
I was looking for a stylish deck box to complement new patio furniture and also store a bunch of pool equipment and accessories. The capacity of this deck box fits the bill perfectly. I wish it came with shelves (which it has built in slots to accommodate), but not the actual shelves themselves. Other than that - I'm more than satisfied with this product. Took a little over an hour to assemble, but I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the sturdiness of the design. Love that the top raises (and holds in upright position!) and that the doors on the front will swing all of the way open. Another plus: you can use a lock to secure the whole thing. Serves my purposes perfectly, looks great and seems to be built to last.

Sturdy, flexible use, easy to assemble. Soon we will learn how it weathered a tough northeastern OH winter. Hope it's waterproof. Very expensive, however, and not enough vendors to compare pricing.
