Suncast sheds, including the cedar and resin vertical shed model WRS4200, are engineered to function well throughout the United States and Canada.
Handles are cast aluminum; the walls are cedar and naturally weather resistant to damage; and the reinforced floor and roof are a high density, blow-molded polyethylene resin. As with all items made of wood, the wood will weather but may be finished with a high quality wood oil or polyurethane if desired for appearance reasons. Certain precautions are also prudent with any outdoor items that have plastic components.
We caution our customers to treat their products carefully in extreme temperatures. Excessive heat causes plastic to soften but it will regain original resiliency once temperatures become more normal. Extreme cold will make plastic more prone to accidental impact damage. Dry snow is light and weighs about 6 pounds per cubic foot. Wet and icy snow is much heavier, weighing over 20 pounds per cubic foot. We recommend removing snow and debris from roofs in order to lessen the possibility of weather-related damages. Damage caused by weather or misuse is not covered under warranty.
With proper care, your purchase of a durable and beautiful Suncast WRS4200 should last you many satisfactory years of service. Thank you for your question and your interest in Suncast products.

Can't give you the dimensions but ours came strapped to a pallet that we had Home Depot load into my truck. No way it fits into a standard size car with the back seats down!

Answer:
The maximum wind load will vary based on the Suncast model. Our blow-molded sheds were tested in a lab and were lab certified for up to 65 mph. Note, too, that the location will affect the shed’s weather exposure. Sheds near buildings could be exposed to less wind than sheds on a hilltop.

Cedar and Resin Vertical Shed is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOOKS NICE We put this together in a less than a day. You do need two people. The directions were great. One corner doesn't fit exactly flush, probably our error, but all in all it went together easily. Looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good, sturdy, but heavy Easy to assemble, solid, looks good. Has the benefit of a natural look with a durable resin roof and base. I combined this unit with several Suncast low-rise sheds that were also cedar-sided. It was heavy to move and requires two people to unload and a van or utility vehicle to transport.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap quality wood We bought the shed and had it delivered. Immediately upon opening I could tell the wood was of poor quality. It feels very similar to balsa wood, not something you would want to use on an outdoor shed. While assembling I found many pieces not cut evenly and some already broken. Applying light pressure can break the wood. At some point through the assembly one of the corners pieces snapped and all the screws holding it together ripped through the wood. These screws were not the ones we put in but the ones pre installed. That was the last straw, we packed it up and returned it. For the price it is not worth all of the work of assembly, fixing poorly done cuts, and unmatched pieces. Then having to stain the entire thing. You are basically just paying for a pile of cheap precut wood.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Aesthetics / Strength Trade-off... So far, so good, with this shed. It took my wife and I about 3 hours to put it together with a power drill. It is entirely cedar planks except for the roof, floor, and hardware. It smells nice, and I believe it will age well. It will take a stain and/or weather seal too - something we're debating. The wood is quite soft, so you certainly want to use a low setting on your drill or you will split the planks. You need to be very careful during assembly for the individual pieces are fragile relative to the usual 3/4" pine usually used in unassembled furniture. One slip of your foot and you'll break something. I've fit my (larger than most) Honda lawn mower into it, so far. I plan to put in some hooks for other lawn equipment and tools. Also, a shelf to get unsightly jugs of weed killers and bug sprays out of my garage. One more benefit of wood is that I plan to reinforce the walls with additional lumber to install custom shelves, racks, etc. You cannot easily do this with resin. All in all, this item is a good trade-off between the strength of resin alternatives for the benefit of a much more pleasing, natural wood style. This will age well, while a resin container will only look worse with time. A five star review would command a bit more strength; with thicker planks and metal reinforcements. However, at this price point, I think it's an excellent value for the do-it-yourself backyard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not perfect, but perfectable Finished, it is beautiful. Finishing the project took a little doing. Due to minor warping and bowng, the tounge/groove match-up was inexact on a some panels. It is wood; these things happen. The doors have extremely tight tolerances and some planing/sanding was required for a fit due to the alignment issues mentioned above. It also proved impossible to push the roof into place. The solution there was to remove the resin bracket that the roof was to fit into, put the roof in place, and then install the bracket. So, with a little adjustment, we have a beautiful shed. Wood, with it's problems, can be worked with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great product Not sure which shed others are reviewing but not this one for sure! My comments are: Very well packed - excellent quality materials - precise and clear directions for assembly. It took me 4 hours on my own and it looks terrific! Great value for money. Some suggestions to make things easier To fix sides to back once slotted in place get on some steps and push the tongue and groove together at the top and screw --- it will already be tight together at the bottom. To put the roof on do not tighten the screws holding the top plastic pieces in place. Tighten once the roof is in place. You do not need a second person just something to lean the back panel against till the sides are in place. Perhaps old age helps ( I am 72) and NOT a carpenter !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 42 Page Instruction manual - a bit of challenge The assembled product is beautiful. I applied 2 coats of a weather-resistant urethane since this will be located on my porch and will be exposed to afternoon sun. Two people are necessary at certain points of the assembly process. We took on the 1st 20 pages the first day, and finished the next day with few problems. I would encourage those involved in the assembly to mark all the pieces with associated letters assigned to them in the manual before starting the assembly process. Two electric screwdrivers will speed the process along quickly. This cedar shed is a good value, looks good and will last if properly maintained for the environment it is used in.
