Questions & Answers

Are the "window panes" open holes to the weather ? Or do they somehow keep the rain out.

Asked by: SUSAN
The windows are wide open so birds and other small animals can take up residence.

Everett 2 ft. 9 in. x 6 ft. 2.75 in. Resin Storage Shed is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 126.

It was easy to put together but we did follow the suggestion of others on the roof assembly by putting the roof braces on before the roof. We set down 21 12" x 12" concrete blocks for a 3' x 7' base and it worked out good. It fits my wheelbarrow, several yard tools and I bought a plastic shelf unit for all my fertilizers and small tools.

I'm not that mechanically inclined, but even I with the help of my young daughter to sort and hand me parts as I needed them was able to put this together on a Saturday afternoon in just a few hours. And that includes time to unpack, organize bagged components, and read the instructions.

It not only looks nice, but it fits together well and seems to be very stable. It took 2 of us a couple of hours to put together. I do have one suggestion to change in the assembly instructions. It is impossible to complete step #30 and #31 without going backward and removing the roof. The roof support brackets (HH) will not fit into header (K) with the roof attached. Thus steps #30 and #31 should actually be steps #24 and #25 before attaching the roof.

You just really need to concentrate on how you're putting the parts together. I wish that it had shelves. As you're putting it together you feel like it's flimsy but once it's put together it's great and does seem strong! It feels heavy which is a good thing! What I don't like is that the ground is not very stable. In other words if you step on a ladder in there, it'll leave an indention in floor. I would say it's pretty cool for the price! And as you can see it looks amazing! Buy with confidence!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We have had this shed for a couple weeks now.... We have had this shed for a couple weeks now. It was relatively easy to assemble, although it is true that it is helpful for 2 people to do it (as the directions suggest), and one of them to be tall and strong, for the roof parts. It is not as sturdy as I had hoped, but I have nothing else but wooden sheds to compare it to. I think it is good for what it is - a relatively inexpensive plastic shed. It is also true (as the directions say) that you need a good level foundation to put this shed on. We tried it on some uneven pavers and it just didn't sit right, so we needed to put a wood foundation under it. So far it seems waterproof and is pretty roomy. There are some holes you can use to attach peg-board hooks, but no way I can see to put up shelves. Overall meets my expectations and stays true to the on-line description.

They say 3 hours or so with 2 persons. I put it together in 3 hours by myself. I know one end of a hammer from the other but no one thinks I am a handyman. It is easy to put together. Yes, some things would be easier with 2, but not necessary. Please note, as other reviews have (my thanks to them), that the directions at #24 are wrong. You need to skip ahead to #30 and 31 and then go back. Or you will regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product (one caveat) This is a very solid product which when installed correctly, works like a champ. There is one area I was unaware of which caused a little difficulty. It isn't until you are into the directions you find out this unit needs a solid foundation; concrete or a wooden built base. I installed on a sloped asphalt apron so I needed to shim it with pressure treated 1x2s. Also, if you will be placing it's back up against an existing wall (fence, house, etc), Do Not secure the base first. You will need to tilt the back walls rearward in order to get them to snap into place. Once you have the walls and roof on, you will be able to snug it up against a wall and screw down the flooring to the foundation. I am handy with tools and this took me about 4 hours to assemble by myself. Box says this is a two person job. Probably 60-90 minutes with two people.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had only a short while, but pleased overall with purchase.... Had only a short while, but pleased overall with purchase. One person assembly until it comes time to install roof - especially if roof panels are slightly bowed, as ours were. Heed others' advice to place roof support "L" brackets in grooves (step 31) BEFORE installing roof. Right hand door may require some silicone to keep rain out.
