Customer Questions & Answers

How long will delivery take for a Resin Storage Shed and will professionals set it up? If so what would the additional cost be?

I'm with Lockheed Martin in Moorestown. We are looking to buy a new shed for our softball field to store the sports equiptment in. Specifically we are looking at the Suncast Large 5 ft. 5 in. x 5 ft. 6 in. Resin Storage Shed. Model # GS8000
Asked by: Anonymous
Mine was delivered to the store about two weeks after I ordered it. It was flat packed in two large boxes. We didn't opt for the home delivery. That was no issue for us. If you have a min of 2 guys, setting it up yourself isn't an issue.

Large 5 ft. 5 in. x 5 ft. 6 in. Resin Storage Shed is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extreme Storage Shed This shed is very well made. The completed structure is sturdy. We did include the 5 2x4's under the floor and the 1" pipe in the roof. The finished product has a good, clean appearance. A friend and I put the shed up in about 2 hours, including cutting and drilling the 2x4's. The instructions weren't great but certainly easy enough to follow. My only issue was with the interlocking mechanisms. For several of the wall sections, we had to really work to get these mechanisms to engage. The shed is now home to my snow blower, pressure washer, wheelbarrow and most of my yard tools.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good size storage shed This is a good size storage shed, only that the height is only slightly higher than my 6 ft tall frame. I found this a nice quality shed that I can get from the market. The floor needs lumber re-inforcement, using five 2x4 about 6 feet each. However, even with the lumber put in, the floor is still soft and I don't want to put a lot of gardening stuff in there. Putting it together is not that easy as it claims, because the parts are not well marked. Also, the instructions are a little difficult to follow. More picture illustration recommended. Another disadvantage of this Suncast product is that there is very little shelves, hanging accessories that I can find, both in the stores (Home Depot and others) and in the web site. Accessories like hangers for spades, pruners, forks, shovels, rakes etc. Suncast recommends owner to build shelves using wood, that is acceptable as it will be much more sturdy, but for places to attach hooks etc, it will be nice if Suncast offer some accessory products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes for a magnificent well house I used this to house my new pressure tank, sediment filter, and huge carbon filter and installed it on a concrete slab I poured just for this shed. My only gripe is I paid the $768 for it, then shortly after, it went on sale for $350 cheaper! Argh, now I feel ripped off. LOL But yes, good quality shed. I liked the idea of having a plastic material well house, opposed to a metal shed, because plastic is a much better natural insulator. One warning though; is the hight will be the center hight, not the general height on the inside.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad instructions The shed is well made, but the instructions are very hard to understand and follow. It took 3 people 4 hours one day and 3 the next to assemble it. If pieces were numbered in the order in which they are used it would have been easy. Instead, some pieces had one arrow pointing and two arrows below (above) it. 2 panels had one arrow up where 2 others had two arrow up. We got it together by trial and error.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for pool storage I have been looking for a large storage shed for my pool supplies for some time and was not happy with the selections that were available locally especially for the price. I saw this on sale online and felt confident with the reviews I read and took a chance. Assembly was fairly easy, the quality is good and it is as strong if not stronger than any other plastic shed I have looked at.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect fit it was very straight foward everything is labeled. It takes about 2hours to put together. Just be sure that floor is flat, this will help everything line up perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my storage needs! We have a 1-car garage and just not enough storage in our house. I purchased two of these sheds for the price of one on Black Friday. Great deal! Free shipping! My husband and I assembled the first one in just under two hours, and the second one in about an hour and 15 minutes. We placed them under our patio cover which already had a slab of concrete. They fit perfectly and hold all my seasonal things, collections, books, yard and patio stuff. I used a lot of plastic Sterilite storage boxes and the sheds provide the perfect protection for my boxes from dust, bugs, and water! LOVE THEM!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product. Terrible instructions. The shed is exactly as advertised. It's a plastic shed, so it won't be a steel building strong, but it's solid. Solid walls, good working doors, raised floor. Good product. Keeps everything secure and dry. Exactly what the description says it'll do. However... The instructions that come with it are horrible.. Confusing.. Had it not been for the photos we would still be out there trying to put it together.
