Answer:
At this time we do not have the design features for a sand box. Most sandboxes have a fully enclosed tray to keep the sand in place. They also may require a snug fitting lid to keep the sand clean when not in use. However that area is 41.875 inches square.

The area is roughly 43"x39"x5" so its decent size. I was thinking the same thing but its a bit shallow so i might dig it out a little and put landscape fabric pro something so its a bit deeper.

Yes, the Suncast Vista play set model WRP7000 can be reconfigured. If the safety zone shape is changed, then the slide, climbing wall, and ladder may be interchanged.

Yes, the Suncast Vista play set model WRP7000 can be reconfigured. If the safety zone shape is changed, then the slide, climbing wall, and ladder may be interchanged.
For example, if the slide were to come out the front with the ladder opposite it and the climbing wall off the side, then overall dimensions of the safety zone shape would be approximately 356 inches across the front and 352 inches along the side front to back. With the slide off the end as originally given, the overall dimension of the safety zone shape requires 404 inches across the front to the 352 inches front to back on the side. So, dimensions for the play set itself change, too. Suncast will supply a diagram to explain these dimensional changes. Contact them at 1-800-846-2345 or email contactcenter@suncast.com. If the Climbing Wall location is changed the wood Part W14 Climbing Wall Cross Brace must also move so it is above the Climbing Wall. It has the hole for the rope.
The following changes can also be made: the swings and trapeze rings may be switched to any location on the swing beam; a Suncast supplied belt swing may be used in place of the trapeze, and the wood may be painted or stained with a child safe finish. Thank you for your question and the opportunity to explain this.

Yes it would be very safe. The playhouse structure is very heavy and sturdy. The swing section is attached after the playhouse section is built.

I would NOT recommend this as it would make it susceptible to toppling over. You would need to find another way to support it to keep this from happening.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 91 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solid playset, easy to assemble The directions are easy to follow and there is plenty of spare hardware. Almost all of the pieces aligned without much extra effort required. The slide is steep so extra padding in the landing area might not be a bad idea. July 8, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy, But Unlined The set came in a lot of packing about the size of a 2 door car. It took 2-3 adults to complete the setup in a week. The most disappointing thing about the set was having to drill holes, because ours did not match with the joining pieces. We now have to put silicone in the other holes to keep critters from making little homes. We also had 2 boards to split. I will be calling the company to see if they will replace those for me. We were able to finally have friends over and 3 could fit comfortably inside the upper part of the treehouse. I would recommend this product. I just wished we didn't have all the extra holes. One side of our treehouse plastic decoration is leaning due to having to re-drill holes. June 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Adds to my Outside Home Decor Got this for my 3 year old daughter. It took them about 15 hours total to put it together over the course of two days. There are two bolts missing I have to contact the company to have them sent out. But i love how sturdy it is, and it looks good in my yard. I searched high and low for a set without all the god awful green and brown and this one was on sale from 1400 to 900 and it was well worth it. We didn't have any problems with the wood splitting like some others were saying. Outside of the missing screws it's perfect. We love it! May 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good sturdy playset Assembly is definitely a project that will take you some time but the instructions are good and the pre drilled holes all pretty much line up etc. It was on sale from the website at the time of purchase so it was a good value. It is very sturdy, my older kids who are 12 and 10 can use the swings just as easy as the younger kids. It seems like it will last a long time. We have had it for a couple of months now and I have no complaints. June 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Playset! This was a great purchase! It was pretty intimidating when I first opened everythjng up and saw all the parts. It took me about 13 hours by myself with some help here and there to hold some pieces in place and help lifting. I would definitely recomend laying everythjng out and organizing your pieces! This really made life alot easier so I didnt have to hunt as I was assembling! There is alot of extra hardware which is nice if you strip a screw etc! Some of the bigger bolts have a specific amount however. The plastic pieces do get very hot when hit with direct sunlight. So we will be adding some shade nets. The directions for assembly get a 4 star review. There was a couple steps i wouldve liked to seen before other steps, but otherwise they are extremely easy to follow! The only issue we had was it took about 2.5 weeks to get here once they said it was shipped. I highly reccomend!!! May 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome set, Here is a tip to save you hours, get a drill bit for your socket wrench!! (see pics) GET AN ATTATCHMENT TO YOUR DRILL THAT WILL CONNECT THE SOCKET WRENCH DRIVERS!! DO NOT USE A SOCKET WRENCH ECEXPT IN A FEW TIMES THAT THE DRILL COULDNT FIT!!!! I am sorry to use all caps here but this saved me so many hours and so much muscle ache. This is my second playset that i have put together and the build of this playset was SO MUCH EASIER than the all wood ones. It only took me 10 hours build. I did it with my 9 year old son and it went very smoothly, except i needed my neighbor to finish the swing beam because it was too heavy/high for my son. My kids have not gotten off of it in the past two weeks. I wanted to post about the drill bit bc it saved me so much time, you absolutely must get this regardless of which playset you buy. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pretty decent for the price Ordering and shipping was easy. The set came in 7 well packed and itemized boxes that were delivered by a secondary freight company. It actually came early and they were nice enough to bring all the boxes to the build site. The key to any self assembly product like this with so many different bags of screws, nuts, bolts and washers is to organize and lay everything out in advance the night before you begin. I spent 1 and a half hours unpacking and laying the pieces out on two folding tables and lined the wood and plastic panels against the fence. I also pre prepared the bolts which we clearly labled and packaged in bags by putting the washers and lockwashers on the night before. This allowed me to fly through the assembly process. The slide is nice and wide. It is very sturdy and so are the stairs and platform for the second level. I am a 300 lbs 6'1" dude and it held me no problem with no shaking. Having two cordless drills one with a phillips head and one with a 9/16 socket ready to go will help cit down assembly time. The wood was all straight and all of the pre-drilled holes matched up perfectly. The only reason im not giving 5 stars is because the wood does seam a bit brittle.. Nothing cracked but it doest seam as dense as other kinds of lumber. We'll see how it holds up. Also I can tell the factory stain doesn't seem like its going to hold up... I'll give it a buffal winter and see. July 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great playset Great looking playset compared to all others with yellow and/or green slides. Well made, very sturdy. Not difficult to put together, but if you're not familiar with IKEA style assembly instructions, find someone who is. Definitely need a good working drill, and I would recommend making some of the pre drilled holes one size bigger to avoid stripping the screws. I was missing half of the hardware when it got shipped to me. It appeared the box containing all of the hardware had been opened before I received it and was missing essential hardware to start putting it together. I contacted suncast and they replaced all of the missing hardware, but it took a week and a half to receive it. August 17, 2016
