So I had a cheap plastic shed, that just got destroyed in a wind storm. I started looking at a new shed today and read all the good reviews about this shed. My neighbor has a Suncast shed and he loved his.. The install went smooth, without any hitches. I was able to download the install instructions prior to heading over to purchase, which was really helpful that they included instructions for the exact cuts to build the wood foundation. The build quality on this shed is 10x better than what I had, and only cost a couple hundred more.

Make sure you download the instruction manual for the directions on how to lay the foundation for the shed. I built a wooden frame foundation that sits on concrete piers. It took me 6 hours to build the foundation and then a buddy helped me build the shed the next day in about 3 hours.
With it being a plastic shed, you need to make sure the foundation is solid and level, otherwise you will have a hard time getting all the pieces to fit together.
I love it. It was simple and straight forward. Would definitely buy again!

It's a beautiful shed but be prepared to spend a couple of days putting it up. One day to build the platform and another setting it up. I did it by myself but definitely wouldn't hurt having an extra set of hands. As long as you build your platform strong and level, there's no reason this shed won't be around for a LONG time ?

I spent a lot of time finding a shed for our back yard... I looked at Menards, Lowes, Costco, Walmart, Shopko, Ace Hardware, and finally got this one from Home Depot. The suncast brand sheds seem to have the best doors and door locking systems. Other brands like rubbermaid and keter rely on plastic while sunfast uses metal door handles with a metal latch. Menards had a similar shed with a window on the side but was over $100 more... I don't need a window on the side for people to see how much stuff i can jam into a shed. I was able to put the shed together by myself except for about 15 minutes of roof work. Very pleased with the overall quality and appearance.

The Storage Shed was easier to assemble than we expected. The directions were readable unlike most directions that are so confusing you end up throwing them away. I am 72 and my wife is 60 and just the two of us were able to assemble the Storage Shed in two half day sessions. It holds much more than we had planned and we can now get both cars in the garage.

First, putting the shed up was quick and easy. Had a small issue with them calling out some hardware I couldn't find but was able to make some work.
Second, my problem! When putting the doors together, luckily I put the window in the right door first. Went to put the left one in and didn't have a window. Called Suncast and they were good about sending one. Next problem! Received the window, found out that the frame I had left was also for the right door. Now I get to wait again for parts to get the shed finished! This should never happen!!! I'll still recommend the product but beware of the contents.

It is a high quality shed. Very easy to assemble. You don't even need second person's help for it. I preferred to build a wooden base for it instead of concrete one. I used 2x4s PT instead of 2x6s on 9 deck pier blocks and 3/4 PT plywood for it. It worked just fine and it is pretty sturdy

I bought this shed after much research. What tipped the scales were the online reviews which were all mostly positive. We chose to build a wood base which actually was the most difficult part due to an uneven yard and having to dig and bury concrete bases, which we did on day 1. Day two was the shed. The directions were easy to follow and it took the two of us just about the 4 hours everyone talked about. It feels sturdy and looks fantastic. Very roomy and we are already looking forward to get some optional shelves and hooks!
