The total price is for all four panels. (I've had mine for quite a few months, and it has stayed up really well; I love it, and I've seen this exact item for sale at other stores and in catalogs, and they are at least 50.oo more. This is the best price for this product, at this store. It arrived quickly, too, and was very easy to put together. Nice!)

This is made to sort of blend in with the surroundings, so it is sort of a dark brownish color. My opinion is darker is better. A can of spray paint you can have it any color you choose.

I am confused by the answer to a previous question. The answerer stated that the item is 44" WIDE using all four panels.

Also are additional panels available for purchase individually, and can they be connected to the middle of the original four?

I was confused, too, by the dimensions, but each panel, of which there are four, is 44 inches tall/height. And they are approx. 21/22 inches wide, each. When adding the 4 together, it's approx. 85 inches wide, and 44 height. I was also wondering if there are additional, single panels which one can purchase, but I think one has to buy the whole set of 4. If you buy an extra set, you can only use as many Read More

If you buy an extra set, you can only use as many as needed, to add to your original set, such as two more added to the 4 panels, and easily connect them with the provided poles, and use 2 other panels somewhere else, but I don't think you can buy them individually. The small poles which attach the screens, are pushed into the ground, hence, keeping up the screen. With mine, no additional stakes were necessary, but you can buy them if needed. You can use it as freestanding, also, if you curve it, if it is on cement, but I put mine on the soil.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great quick fix Like other reviewers, I found it really easy to assemble and install. That being said, it is cheaply made and flimsy, but for our purposes it works well. If we have a hurricane, we'll have to take it down and store it, but otherwise it's great. May 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very bendable Plastic Would like it better if it stood up and was more rigid. As it is, the panels on the end warped right away. It still covers our junk but I will need to attach it to something that won't bend. June 21, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Think Twice Very displeased! I needed it to go around my air conditioner, not stable nor worth the price April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light weight and light duty screen I used the screen without the ground pegs on a cement surface. So, to give it strength, I attached it to a brick wall on one end with gate hinges and with a gate latch at the other end. I found the hinge rods connecting the panels were also too loose and fell out of the slots. So, I replaced them with larger diameter wooden rods, which tightened up the hinges significantly and made the entire screen stiffer. Overall, as it comes from the factory, this screen is very light weight and light duty. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice for what it is. Ordered this screen to provide a barrier in front of our fence to block sight lines between our dogs and our neighbor's dogs. This is not exactly what it was intended for, but it worked. The screen itself looks nice, but really isn't very sturdy on it's own. The provided spikes work as designed but don't stand up to well in the way of impact from dogs. With some reinforcement, panels work fine. A bit pricy for such lightweight panels. December 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A value item purchase This product is easy to assemble. It is moderately sturdy and served my purpose to build a garbage container/bins enclosure. This product hid the unpleasant site of the garbage containers and made my backyard cleaner. August 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product to hide ugly air conditioners! Easy to assemble and adjust around to air conditioner. The product comes with sakes that can be pushed or hammered into the ground to stabilize if needed. August 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product for a screen I needed this to fill in a space in the corner of my yard, where my neighbor had taken down his old shed. It was totally blank there, and I could see his driveway, when, before, the view of my back yard was blocked off because of the shed (I love my privacy). Like another customer said, it is a bit short (4 feet, and I would love a 6 foot one just like this screen), but I did what another reviewer suggested, and I added 2 big, fat Boston Ferns behind it, on shepherds hooks. That completed 'the look.' I had also planted some queen palms in front it, but they are only approx. 5 feet high, and see through. The dark brown, of the screen color, blends in perfectly with everything outside. It was extremely easy to put up; it took me 5 minutes, and it does stay up well because of the poles which come with it. It was the most affordable one on the internet and I love the free shipping. Thank you! (I love it; I smile every time I see it when I step in my back yard, and have my privacy back:) March 25, 2014
