Was a little skeptical of these but it works great! Keeps our master bedroom upstairs nice and cool! It continues to run a bit after the a/c is off and pulls all the cool air out of the duct work. If it is too noisy just turn it down to medium or low. We have 2 and are hopeful that it does just the opposite in winter - keeping it nice and warm up stairs.

I purchased the vent fan to help in cooling a bedroom that is located farther from the ac/furnace blower than the others in my house. Also, the vent in that bedroom is near the bed which blocks off the air to the rest of the room. This vent fan seems to be just what I needed. Now air is pushed higher in the room, beyond the bed, that allows it to spread better throughout the bedroom, cooling it better. Highly recommended.

Product delivers everything as promised, but airflow boost is modest. The auto-on thermostatic function is a nice feature but I still need to adjust it regularly to have it come on more or less often. The whirring noise from the fan is only a little obtrusive (you'll have to go up a click or two on your TV volume), but it's a great white-noise source if you need that to mask outside noises or to sleep. All told, I'm glad I bought it and feel it is a good value.

The auto-on features are a bit touchy and the back does cause the unit to make some noise so, as others have recommended, remove the backing on the unit to reduce noise. Overall, happy with the purchase since it does make a difference and pushes quite a bit of air.

It didn't push much air, slightly more than white noise, and the adapters did not hold connectivity. Seems like the rare times I was able to get it functioning to push a medium amount of air/heat, the adapter would just drop connectivity. Made no sense to me...very frustrating even though I'm a patient person who understand you get what you pay for. An extra ceramic heater on those excessively cold nights worked much better. Very disappointed with this product.

Unit does exactly as claimed. Very happy. It took just a couple of minutes to install and adjust the settings.

Dropped right in the spot after removing old register. Installation = less than 5 mins. Raised the coldest room in the house 3-5 degrees which is all it needed. Can hear fan go on and off but not what I would call noisy or an issue. Easy solution to what otherwise would have been a lengthy expensive resolution.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JH Expensive Nice Idea
I purchased two of these hoping they would help "move" the cool air when the A/C came on in our master bedroom located at the farthest point from the unit. The concept is great, but the thermostat does not work very well. Setting it following the instructions does not work. The fans will come on then go off no matter how the register airflow is. Sometimes, they cycle on and off and on and off several times before staying on. Other times they will run for hours. I have tried moving the temperature sensor to several different settings with no luck. This is happening on both booster fans so it must be a "hiccup" in the manufacturing process. It was a great idea, but an expensive one.
