How do you set temperature on this fan

Asked by: Adam
Hello, The set point knob does not correspond to any temperature. When making the initial settings the Flush Fit Register Booster is using the ambient temperature as its set point. It will turn on/off with temperature changes relative to the initial ambient temp set point. As an example. Your room is 76 degrees and it is the AC season. With the Register Booster set on the COOL position (Blue Down Arrow) the Register Booster will turn on when it senses a drop in temp of around 3-5 degrees. This drop in temp will occur when the AC turns on and the cold column of air reaches the sensor. Once the AC shuts off, that column of air will continue to be exhausted by the Register Booster until the sensor registers the temp rise in the airflow. Please feel free to call us at 800-999-3267 if you have any further questions. Thank you, Suncourt

Flush Fit Register Booster Fan in White is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works ok. Hard to get thermostat adjusted. The unit does work good and boost the air a decent amount not alot by any means but good enough. The problem I have is setting the thermostat on the unit for it to come on. You want the unit to come on when the air comes on but once I got that setting right a few days later I would have to adjust again and so on. It would start not coming on a all with the air and have to be adjusted again. If the fans don't come on then there is a lot of resistance and you are worse off than before. Then if you adjust it to come on sooner it will never go off. All that being said, it works good but is to hard to get adjusted for proper operation.

Fans are a little noisy as well as the directional fins should have been adjustable. I will be taking the other unit back for this doesn't accomplish what I wanted.

It is seen to have a more comfortable environment in the room , since I started to use it. One reason for improvement can be noise reduction if possible. ( It is not high but enough during the quite night time to be noticed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! This booster fan did an excellent job of cooling off my bedroom. My room is upstairs and the air circulation is poor. I could tell a major difference in the temperature of the room. Great product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works OK It isn't a miracle worker, but isn't making things worse so we'll keep it and see if we can keep tweaking for maximum results.

In both modes, it turns on well after the central air kicks in (5 mins), then runs well after it turns off (5-10 mins). Kinda defeats the purpose. It is also LOUD, even on the lowest setting. Great concept, but it either needs two set-point knobs (one for ON and one for OFF), or a more sensitive thermostat. In heat mode, after it would initially turn off, it would cycle on and off approximately 5 times over the course of two minutes which was very annoying.
