Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Superbob you couldn't pay me to install or recommend this
This product not only does not what it is intended to do but actually reduced flow, the fans are computer cooling fans and in no way will increase the cfm flow of air it actually cut the flow in half, do not buy this product, why do you think they don't publish the air volume in the specifications.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Schneider Valuable Option
This register booster was installed in a second floor bedroom that lives two floors up and at the very end of the duct work run on the opposite end of the house from the HVAC unit. Getting cool air up there was like pushing a rope uphill. Installing an in-line booster was not an option as the duct work is inaccessible due to a finished basement ceiling. This booster vent seems to be helping. The airflow coming out of the vent is noticeably increased and does seem to help cool the room. Overall I would recommend this product as a valuable option to have.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by massagetherapist loud
I am a massage therapist and I bought this product for my room because I have a south facing office that gets extremely warm. I find this product to be louder than I expected and it's not just because I require quiet in my room. I would find this loud in any setting. I also did not find this to work as effectively as I had hoped. I brought down my small office temperate down by approx 1-2 degrees. I had hoped for more.

This booster fan brought an end of the line outlet duct back to life. From other reviews I read
before my purchase I did not get my hopes up too high. The installation was quick and easy.
The fan noise is very quiet and does not interfere with other activities in the room. This booster
fan will not throw out air as a high volume hand air drier in a public restroom but it will
realistically make your outlet keep up with the other air outlets which are much closer to the furnace.
I'm satisfied. Problem solved.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BCCriss Nice Register Booster
The setup in our home won't allow an inline duct booster to be installed, so I decided to give this a try.
This has made a definite difference in two rooms on our 2nd floor.
I tried the less expensive "top mount" version of this same blower to see how it would do and because the flush mount was not available locally.
I was happy within a week, so I took them back and upgraded to these flush mount boosters.
Much nicer and have a few more options - go with these 1st!
Don't forget to get the flush mount adapter if your register is larger than 4x10.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RangerGirl This thing is great!
My woodstove is in the basement and I was having a hard time circulating the heat upstairs to the living room. There was an old cold air return in the floor above the woodstove, so I cut a matching hole in the basement ceiling and put the booster in the living room floor. Works great!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TheCat Definitely improved air flow
Using the register booster in my bedroom - the room furthest from the furnace. Air flow was improved through the grate design alone, compared to the existing register. The fan brings in a nice flow of air which is noticeable throughout the room in minutes. The fan has a barely noticable whine; however, it was easy to get used to and fall asleep to the sound.
