Answer:
Hello,
We don't make fans for square or rectangular ducts. The gaps not covered by the fan blades in the corners of the space cause issue with airflow. You would need to collar the boxed duct to round add the fan then collar back to the boxed size. Sometimes that is an off the shelf part, sometimes it isn't. Depends on the boxed duct size.

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very effective I'm using this fan in my DIY painting booth. The blades are plastic and light weight allowing it to rotate very fast. This fan is capable of sucking out a high volume of air maximizing air flow. The fan was very easy to install because it came with crimp and bead on one side along with screws. It is a simple plug-in in a 110v plug. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the value of this fan and with the strength and low noise that it makes. January 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it works I have four rooms upstairs and there is usually huge difference in temperature between the master bedroom and the kids room. Now spring comes and I finally got the chance to have this Suncourt Inductor 5 in. Corded In-Line Duct with cord installed. Quality seems to fine. Installation was quick and easy. I turned the unit on and noticed improvement in air flow. I would strongly recommend this product. April 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and Tight I used my in-Line Duct Fan as a exhaust fan in my little shop outback. This I read voids the warranty. I did ask around I've been told not to worry that Suncourt is a good trusted product. Finding this true in the time I've installed it with the quietness, tightness, and easy of installation. I pugged it in and placed an on/off switch by way of the well written instructions. Secured the fan with sheet metal screws to the housing box I built at the top pitch of the little roof. Very nice in there now! November 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works fine We needed a duct fan to help move warm air from the furnace toward the farthest room in the house. We installed it a few feet from where the register enters the room and plugged it into a Ducstat temperature switch so that it kicks on when the heat goes on. Installation of the fan was easy. It's corded so it plugged right into the switch and we were up and running in no time. It is working as intended. November 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for exhaust venting We hooked this in-line with ducting to exhaust a shop. It is relatively quiet and flows a ton of air. It can be put in-line at whatever location you choose, so you can even put in in an attic or outside (not in the weather) if you don't want to hear it. Corded so it can be put on a switched outlet or even a humidity or temperature-controlled switch. December 3, 2015
