Product Overview

The Sunforce Pro Series 1000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter powers your AC appliances or electronics directly from your 12 volt battery. Pure Sine Wave inverters provide clean power with very low harmonic distortion, no static or humming noise. This inverter will therefore supply stable power to run tools, air pumps, small motors and refrigerators that a modified sine wave inverter cannot. This product features two 110 Volt AC outlets and 1000 watts of continuous power so you can operate more than 1 appliance at the same time.

  • Connects to a 12 volt battery and converts DC to AC pure sine wave for power on the go
  • Computer-regulated overload protection with auto shutoff and a soft-start system protect connected components
  • 2000 Watts surge power and 1000 watt continuous power at 60 Hz for running most home appliances
  • Overload alarm with an LED light alerts you to input overloads
  • DC input overload voltage and output overload protection help prevent damage to the components and the unit
  • Short-circuit shutdown protects electronic equipment
  • High-speed cooling fan and overload temperature protection helps keep the inverter running at a safe temperature
  • Low-battery shutdown feature
  • Includes two 110 volt AC outlets so you can power two devices at the same time
  • Wireless remote control included for your convenience

The 1000-Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter has divided load of 500 Watts per channel. For a continuous 800 Watt draw we recommend our 2500-Watt unit.

This wire should be connected to only one point of a grounding system consisting of one or more electrodes like a ground rod, metal water pipe, metal building frame, etc. If any part in the system is connected to an appliance or electrical system of a house, it will already be connected to grounding electrode(s). In this case another ground rod or other electrode is not required and is discouraged as this could cause problems. Read Less

Answer:
This will vary depending on where you install your inverter (for example a vehicle or a cabin). Usually a short-run 12 AWG wire should do the job. Please consult with a certified professional for further grounding information.

Deep cycle batteries are ideal for this type of application. For even better results, you can look at the different technologies within this category, such as AGM, gel, etc.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Drains bank I bought this 1000w inverter last fall and have tried everyway in the world to utilize it. I can't run a compact fridge with it as the fan runs every few seconds and pulls more energy than the fridge. It has worked okay to run a drill and small saw but pulls too much energy to use full time on my 450 AMH system. I keep it turned off most of the time. I am not at all happy with it and looking for a better replacement. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality Put simply this low end poor quality inverter. When it is on it has fan running on n off even with nothing running. Its noisy, like the ocean is rolling in and out several times a minute. It also gets warm, too warm imo. Much of its chassis is plastic and shaped like a heat sink which obviously does nothing to cool it down. You can only hand tighten your cables with plastic knobs for terminals. The LED display is as bright as a bar open sign. The frequency on this thing fluctuates around 61.3 Hz. Maybe I could go on but basically I returned it after a few days after it used up my 250ah battery bank with nothing plugged in. October 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Less efficient but worth the price overall Unit was packaged well with OK documentation. Build quality is OK. Thumb screw nuts worthless to tighten for 100 amps plus draw - replaced with SS nuts and washers. Required the 12 volt equiv of 560 watts to produce 400 watts of 120VAC. Judging by AC motor performance, the sine wave was decent and acceptable to me. LED DC voltage readout was always .5V low. Readout continuously shows AC volts (???) and displays DC volts and current draw only momentarily when selector is pressed. Remote worked well and for me tilted the scale from 3 stars to 4. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WORKED WELL just spent a few weeks OTG - inverter worked well charging my electronics and well as my tools - but I will needed a bigger one to make coffee October 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It is not durable. I bout this inverter on oct.15,2014 and connected to 12v battery in November. It worked great for only 9 months and totally failed. according to my experience, 9 months is to short for such types of products. Therefore, this product is not durable. August 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it works seems to work fine for what i intended it to be used for August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Product is exactly what I expected... Great buy! The Inverter works well, the voltage is well within specs. Easy to use ( user friendly). ALL Equipment plugged in works well - no problem encountered. Inverter is well-made. Pure Sine Wave are heavier than the Modified Sine Wave. Looks and feels like heavy duty. July 14, 2015
