I'm looking to power a small shed / chicken coop. We'll be running a few small LED lights, a ventilation fan, heater for chickens' water, etc.

All plug into standard 120v wall outlets. Does this unit have those?

Please contact our technical support desk directly for proper sizing. We will need to look at the power ratings of the devices that you intend to run in order to create a consumption profile. From there, we will be able to address your needs.

Answer:
YES. BOTH UNITS ARE VERY LOW POWER DRAW. WILL NEED A DEEP CELL BATTERY. THE 400 WATT SUPPLIED WITH THE KIT SHOULD BE OK BUT MAY HAVE ONLY ONE OUTLET. GET A 2000 WATT OR LARGER INVERTER WITH AT LEAST 2 OUTLETS.. THE UNIT WILL THEN POWER LIGHTS RADIO FLAT SCREEN TV ETC.ETC WITH THE LARGER INVERTER. BATTERIES ARE FOR POWER STORAGE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value for solar power! The SunForce 80w kit (incl. 4 twenty watt panels) I purchased recently was installed on an RV to replenish our two house batteries. The kit included an 8.5 amp controller, and a 350/700 watt 110 inverter, which is under power for most coffee makers. Buying a 800/1600 inverter instead. The panels work in most light, not just bright sunshine. We intend to do some dry camping (no hook ups) soon. The kit comes with a PVC frame for mounting the pannels on or next to a house, and all the conectors and wires, also. 5 year warranty on the panels. Hands down, the best value out there for solar power!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Product definitely delivers This solar array has been on my house for over 5 years, I use it for lighting throughout my house, I have it hooked to 3 deepcell batteries and I always have power after the sun goes down

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent solar kit I've had the kit for almost a month. I have a three deep cycle backup system and this kit works very nice with it. It will charge the system at between 4.83 and 5.53 amps. I live in Washington and it does this on days when the sun isn't able to make it through the clouds. It will still charge at almost 4 amps on very cloudy days. It's a very good kit, I'm glad I purchased it. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from parts broken Product arrived with parts broken because it was not packaged properly. Customer service insisted I pack and send back everything rather than replace the broken parts. It was easier to repair myself than talk to a rep any longer, but how many people have a soldering iron and the knowledge I do? I recommend the product but not Home Depot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Excellent product. Perfect for a small cottage / cabin. The PVC mounting rack is sturdy and very well designed. Everything worked out just GREAT. I'm HAPPY !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not portable ie:RV One of the legs was broken. Could not tell if they were a type of PVC, ABS or fiberglass?? Chineese anyway. They may have been very sturdy and serviceable, but, after only starting to put together I determined that this setup was definitely not useable for me in an RV that may only be in one place for up to two weeks dry camp. Too many parts to keep putting together. It may work just great for someone else though. Nine PVC pieces, 26+ bolts and wingnuts. If I were to be somewhere for a month of more at a time it might be great.
