Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cairn Great light - fails in cold weather
Bought for driveway security. Am deciding whether to re-purpose it or to return it. It casts great light and worked very well until cold weather came. Not useful for security in northern climates. Might keep it for the barbecue patio. If it worked in the cold, I would give it 5 stars. The 3 adjustments are mounted underneath and are hard to see (black on black).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Coniferian Bright and well made
I attempted to buy this item at Walmart for $5 less, but their supplier was out of stock. I have a deep overhang leading to our front door and didn't want to leave the porch light on all the time. This light only took about 15 minutes to install and works well. I have the sensitivity set so that when I pull into the driveway 20' away (or someone walks up) the light comes on. With 60 LEDs it's quite bright and makes getting the door unlocked as easy as in daylight. The light itself has a metal housing; weak spot may be the plastic holding the solar panel, which of necessity will get a lot of UV. I may replace my backyard floodlights with another one.

Very Bright with sensitivity adjustments. Installs easily and has solar and motion sensor. I am happy with the product for the one month that it was installed.

I purchased this item for my shed. I was hesitant at first because the item isn't available in stores (online only). When the package arrrived, it looked actually as advertised. My HD in Lawnside, NJ opened my package to ensure that it wasn't damaged in shipping, which I had no problem of them doing. The light was installed over the door inside my shed. The power cord used to connect the solar panel to the light is atleast 15 foot long. Ample cord to install the solar panel up high. The 60 LED lights provide more than enough light to illuminate my 15x15 shed. The motion sensor works like a charm. You may have to adjust the sensitivity to your needs.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by OCEANSIDE Auto switch did not work and always kept light on
There are 3 modes - On, Off and Auto.
The Auto switch kept the light on all the time regardless of the Day/Night and duration settings.
The light is bright though and if you wanted on without a motion sensor that works this is a good deal

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Miguelius Worthless--battery power completely inadequate
A nice idea, poorly executed. The primary problem: battery storage is insufficient for the power of the light, which is pretty bright. Even though I charged the batteries with the light off for more than 3 sunny days as recommended, the light only lasted a few short cycles before dimming and going out completely. I have a lot of experience with rechargeable batteries, modern flashlights, and LED lights. When 60 LEDs draw current from three small 1300 mAh batteries (which are merely AA batteries like those in small flashlights), the 60 LEDs draw way too much current from the undersized batteries, which quickly discharge. If they designed it with a few, bright LEDs (powerful flashlights get 500 plus lumens from one LED) and used stronger rechargeable lithium phosphate batteries, it might work effectively. However, it fails to last more than a couple minutes. I really hoped it would work and it has some nice features, but it is a complete waste of money.
