Mosquito netting weighs next to nothing, so support was of no issue. See if you can source the proper size netting (Sears and KMart both carry the kind of gazebos I used to have) and if you are handy or know someone who is, you can buy replacement netting for the Garden Oasis hexagon gazebo and then rig something up to use them on this hardtop unit. Hi Lynn,
Unfortunately this gazebo was not designed with the necessary rail to hang curtains and privacy walls off of and cannot support privacy curtains.

I found this comment in a review on another site--I'm concerned about these issues as well. " this product is made if heavy gauge steel and will stand up to high winds and more importantly several inches of wet snow. It is beautiful to look at and provides shade protection in the summer. (The snow does not collapse the roof and it simply slides off when it gets warmer. )"

Hi Jorge,

This gazebo is one of the strongest and most weather resistant models that Sunjoy Industries offers. It is constructed of steel and aluminum and weighs nearly 500 lbs.
The term, "severe weather" is not used in the literature that accompanies this gazebo. Severe can refer to many different environmental conditions.
Care should be given to this structure when it is being assembled to make sure that it will remain intact when exposed to all conditions that are known to exist in your area.
Local codes should be investigated and obeyed. This might include anchoring the gazebo to the ground using hardware that is not supplied by the manufacturer.
Thank you for asking,

I intend to place the gazebo over an existing hot tub and need to make sure there is sufficient clearance between the posts of the gazebo and the sides of the hot tub.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Beautiful construction. Parts fit together perfectly. Fairly easy to assemble. I am 82 and I needed a little help. Took about a day and half to finish. March 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great addition to our outdoor entertainment area Complete installation package was delivered as advertised. Extra bolts, nuts, and washers were included. With the exception of two minor errors in the instructions, installation was not complicated but took some time. Most of the install can easily be done by two people. It was helpful to have four people for installing the poles as this was placed on an existing deck (installation instructions are for a ground location). Added a ceiling fan with light fixture and we have a great addition to our outdoor entertainment area. June 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great love it! Love this gazebo it is strong, we stay dry and the sun is off us, it was easy to put up(2 people and it was up in 8 hours). Many compliments on how nice and how great it looks on my deck. Picture enclosed. Thanks want to purchase another for my other house. August 21, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best product ever I am very happy with it. I thought it was going to be much harder to put together then it was it only took my husband and son about 5 hours total to put it together. I was very impressed with the way it was packed for shipping. The gazebo itself is made really good I don't think I will have a problem with it breaking even with our western NY winters. May 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very happy with this purchase I got this Gazebo to replace a canvas one. I got tired of replacing the canvas every 3 years, and removing it in winter, and setting back up in summer. I wanted a more permanent solution. This Gazebo looks beautiful once assembled, looks well made, and sturdy. It also throws a lot more shade than the traditional square gazebos do. It's very heavy, but it's well packaged, with steel cages inside the boxes protecting the contents. We were able to assemble this with three people. There is a step where, once the roof framework is assembled, it must be lifted to attach the legs. We came up with a trick. We balanced one end of the framework atop a ladder, attached 2 legs, then set it upon those 2 legs and moved the ladder to attach 2 to the other side. Once it's on 4 legs, the last 2 were easy. 2 people can easily lift this framework while a 3rd person positions the ladder! The bar table, and flower boxes look nice, and add additional structural integrity. This unit has already withstood a few very windy days here with no problems. April 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it After years of having a much less expensive gazebo with a canopy top that had to be replaced EVERY year; I decided to take the plunge and spend some money on something that would be maintenance free. Before we got it we read all the reviews on the amount of people and time it took to assemble it - I was worried it would never get completely assembled! Here is our story: All the parts were in the boxes, so no complaints there. 1 - Strapping 30 year old male who did most of the work. 1 - 54 year old male with bad knees and a bad back who assisted. And then when it was time to put the top on the legs we recruited a neighbor for about 10 minutes. Total assembly time with the above labor force was about 5 hours. We waited until the top was on the legs before we put the panels on the top. When we lifted the top to put on the legs we rested one of the corners on a ladder, thus eliminating the need for another person. If you have trouble understanding the directions, it may take you longer to assemble. Be sure to use the correctly labeled screws as some screws may work somewhere else but then you won't have the correct size for another step when it comes up. I opted against using the planters as this is on my patio and I have brick planters around the patio. My less expensive gazebo with the cloth top was 10 x 10 and this is 12 x 14 - makes a big difference and I'm so pleased with the size as well. April 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just okay Item was delivered damaged and has missing items/parts for installation. Calling the 800 number is a pain and asking for parts missing is not easy. Please do something about this quickly. It has been 3 weeks and there has been nothing done. I am frustrated at the lack of service to address this. This item is overpriced. July 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I woul definitely recommend this product to anyone. It took about 6 hours to put up with a short woman, a man over 65, and very strong middle aged man. It is pretty easy to put together, looks nice, and is sturdy. Definitely have them deliver it to your home. Instead of lifting the entire top with all the roof panels on it, we fastened the panels closest to the top first, put the partial roof on the legs, then attached the last roof panels (using a ladder).
