I want to place this in a graveled area so I was planning on creating a three sided frame (2 sides and rear) to attach the gazebo to. I was planning to use either 4x4s or 6x6s. What is the size of the posts and what is the distance between them.

Answer:
I anchored the 4 "legs" to my concrete patio with Tap-con concrete screws. I would not want to install the supports into concrete directly- you would loose height and also what do you do if you want to remove it? If you want to place larger sleeves into the concrete and then insert the 4 legs into them, that is an option.

Answer:
Anchor the gazebo to the ground with stakes for added safety. Stakes are provided to secure the gazebo to the ground. If you wished to secure the gazebo to a concrete and wooded surfaces, use anchors suited for these surfaces ( anchors not included).

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Serves my purpose well Although the directions could have been more explicit, it was fairly easy to assemble, just time consuming. Serves my purpose well as a covering for my hot tub. Handled the first wind and rain storm with ease. Attached to the deck easily enough. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Gazebo! Very nice Gazebo, however it took me most of all day to assemble. You will need some help to put the legs on and get the center support put in place. It seems to be very good construction. I did anchor it to the concrete patio with Tapcon's. May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful My daughter and I did most of the assembly with my husband helping when it came time to put the top on the legs. But, use caution. Though it was well cushioned and packed, several piece came slightly bent. Nothing that couldn't be straightened out, but frustrating. The instructions are basically pictures, but going slow makes it easy to follow - do not try to rush it. Finally, not being able to anchor it to our concrete slap, we filled each post with river pebbles. But, if possible, anchor it. You'll be glad you did. The finished product is sturdy and beautiful. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sunjoy Aluminum Gazebo Had this gazebo for 6 years until it had a fight with a 120 year-old maple tree. Gazebo lost... Only problem is having to replace the canopy every season. They SAY they are rip-stop nylon but the problem is the canopies (exposed to the sun) are NOT UV resistant! Nice... If you do not properly square any gazebo, you WILL get water pooling. You also will be more prone to tear. Make it square! This aluminum gazebo is so much better than the steel. My new gazebo started rusting after the first season. July 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, but... While the canopy looks great and does a decent job of protection from bugs, it does have a few problems. We put the gazebo together on April 11 and it is now July 7th and all sides of the canopy are sagging in the area where the drainage holes are located, one side dramatically more than the other sides. This is due to water pooling below the drainage holes. So less than 90 days in we are starting to look into a replacement top. We live in North Central FL and do not get rain that often. We have to go out after any rain and make sure that the water is cleared in order for the sagging not to become worse. This is completely unsatisfactory. I can say that the frame has held up great and the installation was fairly easy. Just not pleased with the sagging of the canopy. Especially for the price paid. July 7, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by for the price it's a great gazebo. you will need a helper, and about 2-3 hours to put up. June 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for money In following the directions this was easy to assemble. You need at least 2 people, but it only took an hour. May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by i have done one of these before so i knew what to do as above knowing about how they were to put up it helped .but also you needed extra help to install legs April 22, 2015
