Telescopic Venting Operator Pole is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a pole What is there to say? It's a telescopic venting operator pole. If you have an operable skylight that is not electric or solar powered and your Superman cape is at the cleaners, you need something like this. If trying to use this pole and the skylight is still just out of reach, it magically (with thumb pressure on a spring loaded button) extends from three feet long to five feet long! WOW! Mind blown! Don't worry though, it also retracts magically (with thumb pressure on a spring loaded button) so you can store it easily in the closet, under the bed, behind the couch, behind a door, or wherever you happen to store long skinny things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as I expected My ceiling is only 9 feet high, So you aim the head into the hole and you crank. Whats the problem it works as designed and doesn't slip. The pole has a round socket head, which fits perfectly into the socket port on the skylight. I don't know how much easier it could be. This is my first skylight that opens so it its been a pleasure sticking the pole into the hole and cranking. I like that the base of the pole slips so when you are cranking both hands are firmly placed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not turn crank handle as described The description clearly states it can turn the crank handle on the skylight....it does not, nor does it come with any attachment to make it possible. It only has a large six sided ball at the end if the pole. How do you turn a crank handle with a ball??? I do NOT recommend this unless there is another attachment.
