The product itself is OK for small project. The problem is that the seam ends up being in the middle of what would be a plank. It is not as shown. Ive attached a pic of what it really ends up like. Why not put the seam in a groove area? I spent a lot of time cutting in the grooves to have a seamless install. Thank goodness it was only the backsplash in kitchen. So it's OK for a small project. I'm returning all but one roll of it because I decided it's not worth trying to use in a large area. Just buy the bead board. Lesson learned.

I saw an idea on Pinterest to update our old flat interior doors with trim and bead board wallpaper. So after convincing my husband that we can buy new six panel doors for all the bedrooms for $160+ or we can buy this $20 roll of paper, some cheap wood trim, and paint. We took off all the doors sanded them, took off the old painted hinges, measured out and put on the bead board wallpaper, cut and put on the trim, painted, put on the new hinges and same knobs we had, and hung the doors. It looks great! I am so happy when I walk down the hallway now. You can't even buy doors like these without spending half of your kids college fund. The paper is pre-glued and easy to cut and work with. Make sure you don't accidentally hit it with sandpaper it will gouge because it has a kind of puffy texture to it. Now I am looking for other projects to do with this paper because I had a little extra after doing 5 doors!

I wanted to put wallpaper in my laundry room based on a Pinterest photo. As I was browsing wallpaper on HomeDepot.com, I came across the Martha Stewart brand bead board paper and was intrigued by the idea. As I continued my research I came across this brand that was slightly cheaper and had more reviews. I am so glad I bought this product. This was my first time using wallpaper so while reading the directions I was surprised to see that I needed to prime the wall first. Wallpaper primer is expensive, but I did it anyway to help ensure my project turned out great. The paper was easy to cut, easy to install and looks great up! I was originally planning to not paint it, but the seams were a little obvious and the paper backing showed through. I ended up caulking the seams, which helped a little, and then I painted the wallpaper. I am in love with the results!

This is the most incredible wallpaper! It is prepasted, but because I was papering the wainscoting in the bathroom, I wanted to make sure the steam from the shower didn't bring it down, I bought some mildew free adhesive (from Home Depot). I cannot believe how much like the real thing this wallpaper looks on the walls, it even feels like the real thing. I love it so much, I'm looking around for other places to use it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AC Might not be what your hoping for
I used this product in lieu of bead board for ease of installation and price. It was realistically easy to install. But it did not even cover the texture on the walls let alone any imperfections one might have. It painted ok, but I used white and the wainscoting kind of faded out in white. And it's very fragile after installation on the wall. It tears easy on the wall.

I used this bead board wallpaper on the lower 2/3rds of my kitchen wall to cover uneven walls. It looks so great. Several people asked where they can get some for themselves to do their own homes. It's really not difficult to use. I did use extra paste because other reviews said that it helps. I really can't brag about it enough.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DL00001 Great Decor Product
If you are taking off wall paper chances are the walls will not be smooth and easy to paint. Had a bathroom where the walls were bad after wallpaper was removed by a painter. Put up the bead board wallpaper and painted it and it looks great. Didn't have much experience with putting wall paper up, but it was fairly easy with the self adhesive backing and watching a few online videos on corners. Make sure you have a sharp and fresh blade in your cutter when you trim. Odd thing at Home Depot - went to the store to get some paste, tub to wet the wallpaper and they had nothing for wall paper in the store. Odd - I guess wall paper is very un-cool. Also you may want to order more than you see in your measuring. With Corners, cut outs and other angles in the room you may need more than you think.
