PRODUCT OVERVIEW

A culmination of 25 years of indirect system manufacturing experience. The SuperStor Ultra Indirect Water Heater draws energy from a boiler and thus does not need its own heat source. Hot boiler water flows through an internal heat exchanger in the tank, heating the domestic water. The SuperStor Ultra boasts 3-5 times more recovery than conventional gas-fired or electric water heaters.

Answer:
That would depend on the type and methodology you are using for your re-circulation system. As a general answer the cooled return water is usually returned to the cold water inlet. There should be a piping diagram included with your re-circulation product. Often this will involve the installation of a check valve to make sure the water does not travel in an unintended path. I don't want to get heat through my radiator in the summer - how does the system work to heat the hot water? I have a Lochinvar forced hot water system that won't go on unless it senses the temp outside is cold enough...

An indirect how water heater is plumbed to your boiler as a separate zone of heat.
During the non heating season this zone would run and the others would not. I understand that you have out door reset. If a system is sophisticated enough to have this it should also have designed into it the ability to accept an indirect fired hot water heater. The system will most likely modulate the water temp depending on the out side temp to create the greatest efficiency. But when the indirect calls it will recognize this as hot potable water demand and give it priority both in supply and water temp. You are welcome to give me a call and discuss. Chris 978 651 3301

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good product, worthless warranty I purchased this product because it was what I had. The 7 year old htp stainless steel indirect fired water heater sprung a leak in the control well. They did not go good for their "LIFETIME Warranty" because of the lack of the original reciept..pretty bogus excuse not to back you produuct. I did replace it with the same thing because of ease of installation. I will keep the the paper this time. I had to special order this from home depot and that was fast and easy. January 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not worth it Stainless steel and fail after 10 years. I am not the first owner, so the life time warranty does not apply. Find something more reliable and a true Lifetime warranty. December 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Good unit. EASY INSTALL , could have more features included, Work s well. havn't used much, check in a month December 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by What we needed We added a storage tank and circulating system to our existing boiler to replace a tankless. The size is working well for the two of us: one bathroom, clothes and dishwasher. We have had multiple draws without a problem. The equipment was an easy install with clear instructions. The quality is there to support the price. March 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Defective out of box Sure glad I did not hook up boiler connections. Hooked up domestic water one day returned next day and had water dripping out of boiler connection. Leak in coil. No response from Heat Transfer Products on warranty. December 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OUT LAST MOST OWNERS GREAT PRODUCT. OUT LAST MOST OWNERS. SKILL REQUIRED TO INSTALL. January 27, 2014
