Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Wow! What a difference!
Unbelievable difference! The paint was delivered right to our front door. It took my husband and I two hours to paint the entire pool deck. Looks like new! See the before and after pictures attached.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DIY999 Worst experience with this paint
Very poor experience with this paint. Painted almost two weeks back and it dried fast. It was nice looking and not slippery as well. But once it rained, paint is getting bubbles and getting washed away. You can see the photos attached. We used this on the concrete path way and it stick to the concrete after apply. But tonight strong rain ruined our hope and now our pathway looking awfully bad. I am not sure what we can do to take out this paint.
Called Homedepot customer service and they suggested to take the paint can to local store for solution. We thought of using this paint to our garage floor. Thank God! we did do it.

I purchased Dessert Sand to resurface my very sad 280 sq. ft. patio. After pressure washing and patching some large cracks caused by tree root damage, I began painting. Because my concrete was porous, it soaked up the first coats (3 gallons) like a sponge. I put on the second coat the next day and it went on in half the time and with half the amount of paint. Coverage was great and it dill fill in small cracks and pits. I have no yellowing that others complained of but for me the color dried a lot lighter than the sample. Instead of dessert sand, it appears off white. I would have liked it better if the actual color was more like the sample in the brochure. However, I am very pleased with the end result. I eventually want a deck over the patio but can't quite afford it yet. This product dramatically improved the appearance of my patio without a lot of expense. Total cost for my large patio was about $170.00.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Abigdogmom Sure Step Concrete Paint is excellent product
After a long agonizing search for a paint to refurbish my swimming pool deck without enamel in the mix, I decided to bite the bullet and give Sure Step a go.May 10, 2012 was the big day. With my son's help we applied the paint to the deck. I waited the recommended 24 hours before cautiously taking the first steps on the deck. No problems! Yeah. I waited a week before setting the table, chairs and lounges on the deck to give time for the paint to dry thoroughly. The recommended time was 72 hours. No problems! Yeah. The paint goes on well with a long hair roller and I brushed the paint on the expansion joints. The only tip I have is to buy at least half again more paint than recommended for the area you want to cover. I was putting it over textured Cool Deck and that may have been the reason for more paint being used. But, I surely wouldn't take a chance on running out if you have a very large project. You can send any excess gallons back. The company sends a return shipment label and contact name with the product. We applied one coat and the coverage was fantastic. I will use this product again the next time my deck needs repainting. It is non-slip, which is what you need for a pool deck. The color is a bit lighter than the computer sample, but it is pretty and I really like it. I definitely would recommend this paint for a pool deck or porch.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ojars 3 1/2 gallons, 260 square foot slab, two coats
Investigated various products on line reviews. Sure Step has the best ratings. Went to the manufacturer's web site to check details of application. Yes, it did take 3 1/2 gallons to cover the tatters of our previously painted concrete deck, which was power washed and treated before applying new paint. Had a scare when we had rain soon after applying the second coat, but our luck is in!
Deck looks wonderful. The color choice is a sure improvement over the former gray. The tactile surface is great to step on. Only time can answer the durability question. A month in -- no issues!

I have an outside terrace in Manhattan Cement/concrete floors. I have tried all types of outside floor paints, but they dont hold well to foot traffic and furniture movement.
I like that the product is water resistant since I have an air conditioner that drips water onto the patio. I also like the sandy feel when you walk on it.
I applied 3 coats of the paint with a 3/4 inch roller. I am happy with the results will probably reuse the product again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WD Very Happy with Results
I was very happy with the results. I've never recoated concrete before and it went great with this paint formula. It has a very thick consistency and plenty of grit to ensure the no slip finish after drying. One coat probably would've been adequate but after doing all the prep and having the 2nd gallon I just waited for the 1st coat to dry and did the 2nd. I used 3/8" nap rollers on an extension rod and it all went great! It was worth the prep effort of ensuring a clean surface, taping off the surrounding surfaces and cutting in the edges.

Painted a large concrete patio. We were tired of how slippery it was with wet feet so bought this product for the look and non-slip promise. Day 1, power washed and patched, many hours later rolled on 1st coat. Next morning rolled on 2nd coat. A surprise thunderstorm with heavy rain came through about 4 hours later...too nervous to see what would happen...so we went to a movie! Next morning the patio looked great! Still does a week later. Love the non-slip and feels fine with bare feet. Live in the Midwest so hope it stands up to winters too, very satisfied thus far!
