I have a family room and a master bedroom on a concrete surface which currently is carpeted. I want to get rid of the carpet and was going to have hardwood floors put in. But can I use this inside my house?
Can I do this instead of doing hardwood floors for budget purpose.

I've also applied this to some Wolmanized stairs in my yard that would become extremely slick when wet. After a good cleaning with a solution of TSP and hot water followed by a water rinse and allowing the steps to dry, the paint was applied. Adhesion has been pretty good through 2 seasons from zero degrees to the hottest summer day. I'll probably re-coat them this summer to further build up the abrasiveness. Read Less

I wouldn't use this on a garage floor. It won't hold up to that sort of traffic.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 43 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Product The paint is easy to apply and dries quickly. There is no mess when using the paint and the brush cleans up in warm water. October 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good anti-slip paint We used this paint on our porches and stairs. It provides a good non-slip surface when wet or dry. Good surface prep is necessary, and it grips well. July 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Goes on Easily. Looks Good. Does NOT Hold up to moderate traffic. Even dragging a simple piece of pool furniture around on this will wear holes in it. The same gritty texture that provides a no-slip surface makes it prone to being damaged. Not bad stuff, but expect to have to do touch ups. May 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great paint looked good better than the carpet that was on steps April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good stuff. Easy to use. looks good when dry. don't know how it holds up yet. Easy to use. Dries quick. Looks good. Don't know how it's going to hold up yet. June 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It performed as described I used this on outside wood decks, after first using an oil based primer. It is easy to apply like a thick paint, and clean up is wonderful. It produces a nice non-skid surface. I liked the saddle brown color. December 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Anti-slip coating. Applies easily and works! I had previously purchased Sure-Step 'desert sand' and then this 'saddle brown' as a contrast color. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Took a chance I recently had my porch enclosed. This cost more than anticipated, so I had to find an economical way to finish the concrete floor. This paint sounded good with the anti-slip finish. I primed the previously unfinished concrete and put three coats on. Took two gallons and I had some leftover. I did not put a sealer on because I felt that might negate the anti-slip properties. It turned out nice. The color is a wonderful saddle brown. It does seem to require a bit of extra time to "cure", but I was in no hurry. September 8, 2015
