Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding I used this in two places, our front door approach/steps and our 18x22 foot rear concrete pad. No mess no drip.On bare concrete I recommend two coats to enhance the color and appearance. We walked on it after the 1st rain, while still wet, and it was not slippery. I highly recommend this product. August 7, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for the price This is the thickest paint ;you will ever use. It's like pudding. You have to stir it my with a wooden stirrer or a drill with stirring attachment. What you are trying to do when you stir the paint is to get the non-slip grit spread throughout the paint as it tends to settle to the bottom of the can. It covered well with a roller. You have to take your time when applying it (i.e. roll slowly) so it fills all of the rough places in the concrete. Using a brush to get areas that won't fill with a roller helps as well. If it turns out that a second coat is needed it takes about half of what it took to do the first coat. We had very rough finished new concrete and it took about 2 gallons to do the first coat (about 200 sq. ft.) The second coat was done with a little more that 3/4ths of a gallon. It was about 90 degrees outside and it dried quickly. It was ready for the second coat in about 4 hours. Color was good and it's definitely non-slip. I didn't need to put any primer or concrete sealer on before the first coat and it worked fine. Cleanup with water was easy for everything but the brushes. You'll need to use a medium quality brush and then throw them away. September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Paint! Covers so easily, looks like red satin carpet on my basement floor! Great, I love it! June 4, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good I painted a very old concrete patio that really looked bad from years of use. I cleaned it as instructed on the label, and let it dry for three days. The paint went on very easy with a 3/8 inch nape roller. It covered well and I only used one coat. It dried quickly and looks really good. I love the way the surface feels. It sure is non-slip, but doesn't look all that rough. It has been five weeks, and I believe it will last for a long time. I think the price is fair. July 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Good Product We purchased this paint for our concrete front porch. The coverage over the old gray paint was excellent, skid resistance seems very good and so far it seems durable. September 28, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This stuff has been fantastic on the wood deck of my boat I used this stuff on the last bow fishing boat I had and it worked so good that I am using it again on the new boat. It gets blood, guts, mud, water and fish slime all over it (sorry not trying to offend anyone) and that doesn't seem to bother it one bit. I have not power washed it just used the hose to wash it off. It did not come as clean as when it was freshly painted but I didn't care about that. It might look shiny new if I did power wash it. I used a primer and 2 coats of paint. This stuff comes out of the paint can more like a gel than a liquid. I would highly recommend it. It has a fine/small grit what helps with traction when its wet. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sure Step on Plywood Deck - Great Sure Step went down pretty well. Was very thick and started to run out of paint on 8x20 deck. Glad I started on main walk area because thin coating by last 8x6 area. Expected to cover evenly but ran out of paint. Overall, Love color and is non-skid. Will have to see if it holds up on walk area with rain. June 5, 2012
