This works great for mounting on a raised, wood step. My application was, however for a garage mandoor on a flat concrete pad. No where in the instructions or on the website could I find instructions on how to take advantage of the positive aspects of this sill pan for my application. I could have cut off the front lip of this pan, but decided instead to cut a channel in the concrete to slip the lip into, and then caulk the channel after installation. This should allow for proper drainage and proper sealing, similar to a regular wood step installation. I hope it works out.

The sill pan fit and installed easily. Because of the way it was configured, I had to do quite a bit of vinyl concrete prep work to make it fit properly so it would seal around the edges. But it needed to be done.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mikey great product does what it is supposed to do
This is an ingenious invention that will save you a lot of headaches down the road well designed to do what it is supposed to do at a very reasonable price. Iwill use this for any other door I install again. I wish I had heard about it sooner. Very easy to install for a novice like me

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Buddy Nice flashing. Well designed.
Very nice flashing. Very well thought-out design. Will definately offer maximym protection against water infiltration. Just be carefull not to oversize the rough opening. Three-Quarters larger than the window frame dimension is plenty. Allows room for the sill as well as thermal movement of the frame.

This sill pan is easy to install and worth the money. It's a shame it has to be ordered on line. They should stock a few in the store.

The "complete" kit comes with everything one needs.
Instructions are a bit ambiguous and must be read carefully. Called toll free number and again received vague response. I decided to use 1/4" additional height added to normal RO. Had to figure that out for myself by measuring and interpreting the instructions. So, I rate help info as poor. Otherwise, good materials, easy to put together and seems well designed.
One note: If you have an installer putting in windows/doors afterwards, make sure they know not to caulk the bottom of the window/door in a manner that plugs the weep holes of the sills. Some will put Self Adhesive Flashing over bottom of window units that cover weep hole in sills. This will defeat purpose of the sills. Easy to overlook.
I would recommend to anyone wanting good drainage for windows and doors. I bought head sill units as well and would rate the same.
