Answer:
Yes the shower is for 3 walls. And Yes the pictures are deceiving in that respect. I couldn't tell for sure and had to order with faith. It has a lip on 3 sides and a raised barrier in front.
No Instructions with product. Instructions on website are not easily found. You can NOT secure this base with screws or fasteners! It therefore must be set in a bed of mortar. Just saying.

Answer:
There are two differences between these three shower floors: dimensions and color. The SF03448MD.xxx models are both 34"D x 48"W. The SF03248MD measures 32"D x 48"W. The last three digits designate the color. White is .010 and is a solid white color. Tahiti White is .059 and is a tone-on-tone white color - a white background with small white flecks in the material. All three models are solid surface and Read More

Hoping to use this with a 36 x 48 x 96 Swanstone shower kit, but confused about 34" depth instead of 36". Can these products be used together?

Answer:
Yes, a Swanstone 36" x 48" x 96" shower wall kit will work with an SS-3448 shower floor. Our solid surface wall panels can be trimmed allowing for customization to fit your personal dimensions or to allow for out of plumb walls. The wall panels can easily be cut to fit using a circular saw with a fine tooth carbide blade (60-80 teeth). We appreciate your interest in Swan products for your home and hope Read More

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Swan34 in. x 48 in. Solid Surface Single Threshold Shower Floor in White See my other review on Swan shower walls. Shower pan was good fit, easy to install and hopefully leak proof and looks good. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great choice for remodel or new constuction This makes second Swanstone pan installed in six months. Install in a bed of motar. Swanstone shower wall kits come sized to fit Swanstone pans. April 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I thought it would be... I knew for $300. I wasn't going to get a $500. shower base, but thought it would be a little more like 'solid surface' material. But it was just a plastic shower base. I believe when Swanstone says 'solid surface' they mean it's solid color all the way through, not just a coating. The webbing support design under the base make it feel pretty ridged. I just hope it looks good longer then the cheaper plastic bases. I'm not disappointed, but wanted to let other people know what it is, because if I had known, I may not have ordered it. I will report back at a later date and let you know if its durable. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Second installation....would highly recommend this base This is my second bathroom remodel with this shower base and like the first one (3 years ago), this base went in smooth, was easy to match up the backer board, then tile, and it is solid as a rock. Not sure if the installation suggests a mud base, but I did it with both installs and it is perfect. The one installed 3 years ago still looks new and remains solid. It's the reason I chose it again this time. December 23, 2014
