I bought this faucet set for a replacement utility sink also purchased from HD. The faucet is mostly plastic, with the exception of the actual spout, which appears to be plated brass. The faucet on the old sink was all metal, and I probably could have spent twice as much on a new all metal faucet. Since the sink is used only occasionally, I opted to save some money.

Overall was good. Did not come with the supply nuts. They had to be purchased seperate. That was disappointing as on a new install you do not have an old faucet to take them off of

I installed one of these in a laundry sink recently. No big surprises, installed without any issues, probably took 10 min. to have it installed and flowing water which includes going and getting my wrench to connect the water lines. It has a plastic "base" so if you want to install it "right" don't forget the plumbers putty or silicone, I skipped that step (it's a laundry faucet, not real worried about it). FYI the spout comes not connected there are 2 O rings that seemed a little dry to me (yes I could have gone and found my silicone grease). I installed the spout and screwed down the collar hand tight. I haven't had any issues. I figured I could always add silicone later and it didn't look like it would be hard to replace those O rings if I needed to later. Handles seemed a bit stiff probably a little silicone would fix that, hasn't been a big enough issue for me to bother with it.

It installed fine but we've found that the knob type handles are difficult to turn. This is especially true for our kids, my mom who has arthritis, and even me at times with wet hands. I would prefer a lever type instead of the round, faux crystal knob type handle.

Faucet drips constantly unless the handles are closed as tightly as possible. Fortunately it and the sink are only for temporary use durring a kitchen remodel.

I got this faucet to replace the old one that was leaking in the stem. I had no problem replacing the faucet, I like the feel of shut off stem and the way it looks. If anyone is looking for a tub basin faucet, I would recommend this faucet.
