Answer:
Many companies only make a standard 30" width bath tub. You may have a specialty size or one which is outdated. If you look at the BT-3060R-010 Home Depot page and scroll down to the specification area, page 9 discusses the framing needed for a this tub. The framing would make up for your current tub size. Good luck.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This tub is deep and looks beautiful with a surround Tub goes beautifully with its corresponding surround wrap and brushed nickel hardware. Typical installation (i.e. no different than any other tub). Tub seems deeper than the average tub. The bottom has a slight texture grooves in it to avoid slipping, unlike other tubs that are smooth and slippery when wet. We love the combination and extremely happy Home Depot carried it as we bought the surround piece first and a cheap, 60" tub. I am happy we exchanged for this better looking and sleeker designed one. Notice the back lip of the tub in my picture. Wheels from the bottom of the surround slide right into the grooves. The back has a minor curvature to it. The brushed nickel hardware compliments the sand-colored combination. The surround is roomy and has lots of storage space for all your bathing needs! April 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tub Very sylish tub, went great with my remodel. looks good July 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price Deep bath tub for this price! I also like the slope of the headrest. It did come with 4 quarter size imperfections inside the tub - they are light grey scuffs where the white seems to have rubbed off. We installed it anyway because we didn't have time to wait for another one. Also the first one we ordered came in cracked all over into little pieces. Can't believe they even showed us that. Happy overall, though. March 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Plastics it gets two stars because it didn't arrive damaged. but I am not sure how long this tub will last or how well it will resist scratches or how loud the water hitting the tub will sound when you shower...but it's very plastic...like recycle plastic from pet bottles. it feels really cheap. I am debating if I should return this and just spend the money for a cast iron or just hope for the best. I wonder how come other reviewers didn't mention the very plastic feel to the tub... Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buyer Beware We purchased this tub for a bathroom remodel in our house...We are very disappointed in the quality...The tub has a long hairline crack on the top ledge near the drain..the crack was not noticeable when the tub was unboxed...It had no instruction booklet or papers with it which now leads me to believe it was a return, especially after reading the reviews of others receiving tubs with cracks....unfortunately, we unboxed the tub a few weeks before installing and threw the box away...looks like we lost $217.00...I do not want it repaired or even exchanged for the same tub...I will spend more $$ and purchase a higher quality tub from a manufacturer with better quality control...what a shame that we wasted over $200 on a tub headed for the curb or landfill....I will never purchase a Swanstone product again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Big Bathtub We really like the size of this tub - it is deeper and larger soaking room than most 60" x 30" tubs. Not much room for shampoo in the corners like most tubs. Nice and light so getting it in place was easy. Installation instructions are somewhat lacking - calls for a mortar bed but does not specify how much. Called Swanstone customer Service and the operator told us 1-1/2" under the grid - they obviously get that question a lot! The plastic cover that is to be kept in the tub during construction is a bit large, got in the way and often allowed debris to get under it - keep cleaning under it so you don't scratch the surface. Otherwise, we love the tub!!! March 11, 2009
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by love the non slip If installed properly this tub is wonderful. Nice minimal non-slip pattern on the bottom (yea no need for a mat or stick ons anymore!). Feels solid and looks great. Actually bought a second one of these for our other bathroom because we liked it so much. Very steep sides seem to allow a nice deep bath. My kids enjoy it, but I haven't had a chance yet to bath in it. Feels nice under foot when I shower. I only have 2 complains... 1 it took a long time to get it, so had to put the job on hold, and 2 swanstone gets dirty quicker then porceilin. Not a huge problem as it scrubs nicely. Just expected it to be a bit more dirt resistant. October 17, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WORST BATHTUB EVER!!! Within the first month already stained. Less than a year old and it looks like a 50 year old tub.so disappointed!!! Makes the whole bath remodel look awful. Disgusted. May 15, 2015
