Answer:
This sink can be undermounted with your Formica countertop. Your countertop space would need to be 36" or larger to accomodate the clips. Hope this helps.

After installing my sink I wanted to get off any extra caulking that I was unable to wipe off so I used a Scotch-Brite Extreme Scrub Scour Pad which as far as I know is the toughest pad they make and they are flat out awesome at cleaning up stainless steel cookware. Anyhow I was relatively gentle with the sink as I was scrubbing and it turned out terrific! And I suppose I could have scratched it a bit but the scratches are totally invisible given that this sink has a flat finish. I'd have to guess that a guy can use dang near any cleaning utensil he would like on this sink, including stainless steel scub pads as well as a fine grit sandpaper! :-) Though id probably not recommend using the sandpaper on a sander, gently by hand should do the trick!
I love this sink so far, the size is totally awesome, it looks good (Bone) and it cleans up beautifully!

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 133 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cracks on edge of sink I was really disappointed to find out that there were several small cracks on the front end edge of the sink. These were discovered by the plumber after setting it while he was caulking. Yes, the manufacturer would take it back, but they won't pay to have it re-installed. I realize this isn't an expensive sink, but for $250+ you shouldn't expect cracks. March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I LOVE this sink! Installation was easy. I used a hole saw to cut the pre-marked holes for my soap dispenser and dishwasher vent. The first day I had it I spilled grape juice on it and it sat over night. It cleaned up perfectly in the morning. It has been three weeks since I bought it and I absolutely love it! I can get my entire chopping board in the sink and wash it. Every time I walk by it I think I am SOOOOO glad to be rid of my double stainless sink that came with the house. Perfect buy for a deep, easy clean, non-staining sink. Top quality. March 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good looking Very easy to install. Good instructions and cutout templates. Very light and easy to handle. Negative The sink stains easily if dishes or silverware left in sink over nite. Does clean up successfully with scrubby and bar keepers friend. Very attractive although a high lip. August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not stain resistant and came with cracks Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. The first sink we installed, cracked as water hit the sink and left a quarter size hole. The sink must have come damaged and the water just forced the top layer to peel off. So we uninstalled this sink and ordered a new one. The new sink came cracked. Ordered a third one that appeared to be good. After installing what I discovered is that this sink is not stain resistant what so ever. When water pools and sits in the sink for awhile, the sink turns a gray color and leaves a mark where the water was. This mark does seem to fade after awhile. Unfortunately I did leave a plain noodle sitting in the sink over night by accident and when I moved it in the morning, it left a gray mark that is now permanent. Now I can see a sink staining if you leave spaghetti sauce in it, but a plain noodle and water stains it. Really? What good is this sink then? I heard a lot of good things about this company and with the good reviews I decided on this sink. However it's clear the company does not value their customers or their products as two sinks came damaged and they say this sink is stain resistant when it is not. I would not recommend this product. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THIS. SINK. IS. HUGE. It's enormous! Matching cutting board is awesome!! We have limited counter space and this sink with the cut-to-fit cutting board is perfect. The cutting board doesn't slide or move around at all. My wife uses it so much, we just keep it against the backsplash, behind the faucet. The sink is huge. it's really big, we can fit stock pots and everything inside it now to soak. We've had it in about 2 months now, cooking 4times a week and haven't had ANYTHING leave a stain. We've dropped hot pans and pots in there without them leaving a mark. I dropped it in however if or when we replace the granite, i'll undermount it just to be current with trends but adding another inch of depth seems crazy. It's REALLY deep! Everyone should buy this sink, and the matching cutting board. January 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Big sink This is a really big looking sink, though it fix in my previous two sink hole. The only down side, is when you scrape the dishes into the disposal, the derbies get all over the entire sink. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My new sink I can't say enough good about this sink, cleans easy, a great width & is plenty deep enough to handle even my tallest stock pots. Am loving this one in my kitchen remodel August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great choice for my replacement. This is a great choice to replace my double bowled stainless steel sink. The stainless never looked clean and a cookie sheet wouldn't fit. This sink looks good and is deep and wide for larger items. February 10, 2016
