How is this with the sound level when using a garbage disposal? I previously have had sinks that made the garbage disposal sound very loud.

Answer:
Swanstone kitchen sinks accommodate garbage disposal installations. The material is thick enough that it should not be affected by the vibration or sound of the garbage disposal. We do not hear of consumer complaints when our sinks are used with a disposal. Often it is the garbage disposal itself that is the culprit.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cracks on edge of sink I was really disappointed to find out that there were several small cracks on the front end edge of the sink. These were discovered by the plumber after setting it while he was caulking. Yes, the manufacturer would take it back, but they won't pay to have it re-installed. I realize this isn't an expensive sink, but for $250+ you shouldn't expect cracks. March 4, 2014
