Pretty easy, the sink instructions should tell you what size hole saw to use and how to do it. I cut one on my sink and it only took a few minutes.

Answer:
Don't drill. Just support the sink on wood 2x4's and use a hammer + 3/8" punch to knock out the predrilled holes from the top down. Chip around the circle edges to achieve your finished circle. Look at a YouTube video maybe and be patient. You can do it.

The title says granite but several times in the description it says it's quartz. Which is it? They are not the same thing.

Answer:
Swan's "granite" kitchen sinks are compression molded under high heat and are comprised of 80% natural quartz stone combined with resins for extreme strength and heat resistance. The term "granite" is rather an industry standard for this type of sink material. These sinks have a matte finish and are a complement to any counter top material although they are not shiny like a granite counter top.

I'm not certain what it is made of. Go to the store and check out this model or similar to confirm. Regardless, we installed a couple years ago and it looks great - no complaints. I'd buy it again if we needed another one!

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 56 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Sink I Have Ever Owned After looking at a lot of sinks, we settled on this one because we LOVED the look in the store. It was even prettier when it arrived. It was packaged very well and in perfect condition. Great instructions. Once it was in the counter we knew we made the perfect choice. I love the size of the large basin as well as the lowered middle separator. I can now wash a whole sheet pan at once! No more washing half of it and then turning it, washing the other half, etc. I also love the design at the top, it makes the sink feel so much larger than my other one, even though it takes up the exact same space in my counter. I feel like I have twice as much sink. It is also very easy to keep clean. This sink is not only one of the prettiest sinks I have seen, but it is so very functional. I have received so many compliments on this sink. Who knew people paid so much attention to the type of sink in a kitchen? Well, they do. I am so very happy with this purchase. September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great sink, durable and very deep! It was somewhat difficult to drill the holes but it worked in the end. After a week or so, it does start to get a white deposit mark from our well water.. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 100% SATISFIED! This subtle black granite sink is a crowd pleaser! Everyone compliments me on its unusual color and style. I'm thrilled with how easily my husband was able to install it - always makes life good - and the value for the price. Thank you Home Depot! March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this sink This sink is great. We used it as an under the counter mount. We easily hooked it up to existing drain with minimum modifications. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by one thing This sink is wonderful and it looks great with the new counters. One thing is missing. Please consider adding the option to purchase the 1 1/4 " diamond bit hole saw that is needed to cut out additional holes. There are pre drilled area for cut outs but.....the only hole saw I could find in 3 different stores was a 1 3/8 ". It worked for our purpose, but will not work for all. I would gladly have purchased the hole saw with the sink if I had been given the option. It would have saved a lot of time and aggravation. Home Depot should also carry this size hole saw April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love Love Love Just finished our kitchen remodel and this sink the crown jewel!! When it was first installed there was an ugly white film all over it, however one wipe down with baby oil and it shined like diamonds!! Despite the new floors, appliances, granite countertops, everyone always goes "WOW" when they see the sink! August 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't realize what I was missing until I went granite This really is a great sink. The room it has is its best feature. With this sink I'm able to stack a good amount of dishes on the left side without it being so obvious I have dirty dishes. I really like the look of the lower, slightly curved compartment separator. When you first walk in the kitchen it looks as if you have one large sink, very modern and unique. Some reviews said that people actually liked doing dishes after they got this sink. I was pretty skeptical about this but I do find myself wanting to say the same thing. The sink is very easy to clean and looks great with the Pfister faucet we also picked out at Home Depot. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful sink Looks great, eye catching, very easy to install and feels extremely solid. Much improved over the stainless steel sink we previously had. April 27, 2016
