Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Swan products. We do not offer this item in a right side drain. The closest we have is a 30" x 60". As far as modifications in the field, you should check with your contractor but generally this is not done.

Answer:
Unfortunately, this floor does not come with a lower threshold. We have several barrier free options available but they are different sizes than the 34" x 48" you inquired about. Models FR-3260L.010 and FR-3260RM-010 are designed to replace a 30" x 60" bathtub with left/right hand drains and have a threshold that is 3-5/16" H before installation. Models FBF-3060L-010 and FBF-3060R-010 also measure 30" Read More

Answer:
Unfortunately, trimming the side of the shower floor would not be an option. The three exterior walls of the floor have a flange around the perimeter of the floor designed to be installed behind the shower walls. Trimming the floor would remove the flange and result in voiding the warranty.

If installed on a level surface, is the pan constructed with a slope from all corners and edges so that water flows to the drain without any water remaining in the pan?

Also wish I could see the pebbled surface - not really evident on the Home Depot web site. Any chance you could include a convincing jpeg picture of the pebbled surface in your response would be
very much appreciated.

Answer:
Yes, this floor is sloped toward the drain at a slope of 2° = .375 per 1". Although I cannot attach an image to this response, I will work to put an additional image on this product page showing the floor's pebbled surface. Thank you for considering a Swan product for your home!

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome shower pan for a cheap price Installed this pan with tile walls and a clear door soon to come. as far as the other review I dont know he is talking about this pan is a solid hard plastic product the same color all the way through. I thin set mine down and it is solid as a rock no hollow sounds and the tile walls came nearly to the verticle parts of the pan making it look fantastic. the drain is super simple to hook up. I have dropped tile on it and it did not scratch so I am impressed. I had a tile shower pan before that cracked as the house aged and this replaced it. for a second story shower this is the way to go and this is far easier and cheaper than setting a full kurdy pan for a first floor shower. I like it and my relatives like it so much that i am now lined up for two more installs. I would recomend it just make sure to thin set it into place for that nice rock solid feel. May 20, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Online picture and description did not clearly show the floor pebble style pattern. Online picture and description did not clearly show the floor pebble pattern. This may have made my decision to buy or not buy this shower floor pan. However since we are selling the house I am not that concerned with the long-term cleanability or wear pattern of this busy floor design. I realize all tub and shower floors are probably saddled with some kind of non-skid type of surfacing patterns, some worse than others. The good news is there are no weird channels or angles to the sidewalls making this perfect for use with wallboard and tile applications. Some shower floor pans are conformed more to fit their specific sidewall kits. April 15, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not SwanStone quality This product might be marketed as a SwanStone product, but having experience with both I can tell you that this doesn't measure up. After setting the pan 3 times, we managed to get it right, but it took a lot of concrete to stabilize and firm it up. Spend a few more bucks and get the top quality product. March 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I had expected The quality of the shower pan was exactly what I had expected. The only thing that I was not overly thrilled about was the drain and the way the rubber gasket is placed as it limits the types of drain covers that can be used. Others have mentioned that the installed pan sounds/feels cheap... and to counter that, I would heavily suggest laying some thinset down before placing the pan into place. I placed enough thinset in so that all of the voids and nooks underneath the pan are completely filled with concrete and when it dries, you have a very solid shower floor that does not bend or sound hollow. Had a couple of questions about the product before installing and the Swan company was easily accessible (little to no wait times on the phone), friendly and knowledgeable. For the price, don't think you can get anything better. July 22, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing to it It's just a pan, you can find the same quality for half the price. It works, although for the rice it could come with a metal drain grill. Instead, for a pretty expensive pan it has a very cheaply made white plastic grill. There is nothing to the installation. It is good that it has ridges on the bottom so it does not really require to be sunk into cement although the instructions say other-wise. By the way the instructions are really really really bad. For a pan it does the job of a pan. August 31, 2011
