My contractor said it was a very good quality base. Not as cheap as some that you pick up in big box stores. It was just what I was looking for.

This is very sturdy, nice finish and my husband had a very easy time installing. We agonized over the right shower pan/stall features as we read so many bad reviews on so many other products.. not this one.. no wobble, no buckle, we are very pleased and have no concerns over cracking or breakage. it looks fantastic with the new travetine tiled walls.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Remodit Height not quite as specified
This is a preliminary review, post installation but pre-use. But for now I do want to warn consumers that the threshold height is not 4.5 inches, but rather 4 - 5/8 inches (i.e. 4.625 inches). They can't use a rounding excuse because it's over 4.6 inches. I wanted to re-install my glass shower door in the exact same place using the same holes in the shower walls, but I cannot. Being 1/8 inch off they would strip out. I'm forced to re-drill pilot holes in both the door jam and the tile wall. It is ridiculous that Swan would misquote such a fundamental measurement when the issue is tight spaces and retrofitting.

A good heavy duty shower pan, it was very close to the stated 36" x36" on the box.
the pan was 1/4" out of level no big deal,
A leveling compound applied to the slab floor fixed that easily.
Installation instructions were adequate even for a novice DIY
