Firstly, there was no software CD in box with other items. The store is getting some CDs and will call when arrived. I called technical support and they assisted me to download SwannView Link and Manual from the Net, and showed me where to find product downloads. Secondly, the setup wizard said the email test and 'send UID' were successful, but no emails came to my machine, so don't know if it is working or not, but was advised do not need to receive emails to operate cameras.
Thirdly, I am left-handed and there is no option to change the mouse buttons, so I am often clicking on the wrong button and menu then disappears.
Finally, I don't want to be a pest, but will read the manual from page 1 to page 58, try to make sense of everything, write my questions down and then ring tech support when have a list of questions. Other than that, would be good if range was 90 degrees instead of 65 degrees, but guess can't have everything. Product is good, I just need to learn how to use it by studying the manual and trying to get used to using a right-handed mouse with left hand.. Regards Mary

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pacman69 NVR is compact but software needs improving.
Easy to install. Just need to run the Ethernet cables.
Easy to set up, just switch it on and use the mouse to enter the things like time zone and away she goes.
The NVR is very compact, and can fit any where. It is quiet because there are no fans.
The cameras are quite strong and sturdy. They are metal and are fully adjustable.
The RJ45 female plug on the camera is large and needs a big square hole cut in the ceiling to feed it through.
The cameras also have extra cable for optional 12V and reset button which I don't believe are needed and look messy.
The supplied screws are poor quality and kept breaking their head when screwing in by hand. I ended up using my own screws
The cable was supplied all wound up, and was difficult to unroll. It is a tripping hazard in the ceiling cavity as it is still partly coiled like a spring.
The software on the phone to view the footage is buggy and even the PC software is poor. You have to view the footage at real time which is too slow. It also views corrupt and the people or moving things in the footage disappear and re-appear and become like ghost images. To view anything properly i need to down load it as AVI and then view it with windows media player.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Connected Easy to Install
We have just purchased the NVR4-7085 today. When we got home we connected all the cameras and tested out the best places to mount them by walking around the house. The leads are 30m which would be plenty long enough for most applications..We connected the unit to a computer monitor for set up. We found the set up wizard easy to use and also set up the SwanView link on my smart phone and tablet without any problems. The cameras appear to provide a good quality picture. Overall we are pleased with the product at this stage.
