One of the earliest northern highbush blueberries. Fruits begin ripening in late June. Berries are light blue, medium-to-large size, sweet and juicy. Leaves are glossy green in summer turning red in fall. An excellent ornamental plant that provides delicious berries and wonderful fall color. Earliblue is a self pollinator and does not need another blueberry plant to grow and provide fruit. A blueberry for hardines zones 5 - 8.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasantly Surprised I ordered this plant online to compliment other varieties I picked up at the store since they had no earliblue's there. I expected the one ordered to be smaller or scraggly but it was in much better shape then the plants I brought home from the store. I haven't harvested any fruit yet but it is recommended on other nursery websites. I am looking forward to this plant stretching my berry season out when combined with the other mid-season varieties I have (blue crop and Reka). I'll keep my eyes open for a late season variety to add, perhaps a Jersey. November 14, 2013
