According to blogs I've read online by reputable pool installation companies, the only "real" measurement for pool liners is in "Mil" not "gauge", perma, etc. because those terms aren't yet regulated in the online pool-liner industry.

As a result, any company selling above-ground/in-ground pool liners can claim liners are available in 20, 25, and 30 "gauge" and that measurement can vary significantly between companies because "gauge" has no metric value and is a "loose" term in the pool supply industry.

The only true measurement with a finite quantitative measurement is "Mil". When pool installers order in-ground liners for in-ground pools they ask for a roll of 15 Mil , 20-27 Mil, etc.
keep in mind the popular prints on these liners can be mass duplicated, same print and gauge can be 1/8 the thickness of the same print and gauge from another online company.
Hmmmmm.....perhaps this is why I've had to replace the liner in my above ground pool every other year!
Not fair!

Answer:
Hello Jax,
Swimline (our manufacturer) does not measure in MIL. This is a standard gauge liner and is compatible with all other standard liners on the market.
Thank You
