I haven't built it yet but did get everything i need for it such as 4x4's and slide and took everything out of the box...looks like everything is there. As i was looking at the instructions it says 4x4's needed (6) 8' and (5) 10' well on the box it says (7) 8' and (4) 10'...not sure if there was a change on this design but somethings not right here. Looks like i'll be taking an extra trip to exchange wood..blah!

We were looking for a product that would grow with our 6 grand kids ages 7months to 5. This is a great product however..... Their "Build & Play in One Day" statement on the front of the catalog is not true. My husband is quite handy and is one who reads all instructions on every product we own. Instructions are vague so allow extra time to figure it all out. It took my husband & our adult sons 3 and a half days. We laid out & labeled all supplies first. It would have been helpful if all of the same screws were assembled in larger bags instead of many little ones and labeled by screw size instead of manufactures code. Screws did not always match up to what the instructions said. After the project was complete we ended up with maybe 10 extra screws- it would have been helpful to know we had extras instead of worrying though out the project that we would run out. The wood gloves are a great idea but we just wish they would have been long enough to go around the 4 x 4s and actually use the velcro instead of having to screw them in place. The wave slide should be longer so that is is not so steep- its a little scary to watch them go down. Overall we are pleased, but hope the manufacturer listens to the buyers concerns to make this an easier project for others. We would definitely recommend this product to others!!

Searched around for a quality set, found this one at depot. Came in a nice small box, opened it and found it came with 10,000 screws and bolts and 200 pre cut pieces of wood. This was a little jaw dropping. The box says 8 hrs to assemble, took 18 hrs. And I am pretty handy, my brother who can fix anything helped also. Directions were pretty good, a little confusing at times. Make sure you read it slowly, if you go to quick you will have to do things twice. Looks great when its done. One thing that I dont like, the slide which is sold separately is extremely fast. I had to raise the front up 16 inches to level it a little. My daughter scares me when she goes down. So go for the more expensive longer slide. I went with the $75 one. next was $140. I had to buy more of the 1 1/4 inch screws also. But it went together pretty quick considering all the pieces. Wouldnt want to do it everyday, but my girls will play on it for another 8 to 10 yrs.

Great play set. It took my 12 year old daughter and I about 3 days to assemble. Layout and organize everything before you start. Before we started we separated all of the boards and parts according to their part numbers and put them into stacks on the garage floor. We then wrote the numbers on the floor with chalk to identify each stack. You will appreciate doing this as there are a lot of parts. We didn’t have any missing materials at all. The only problem we had was some of the numbers on the boards weren’t visible. It took us longer than the stated time to complete so make sure you plan ahead. The kids love it, it is very sturdy, and looks great.

Where do we start? Oh how about on the box. Said we needed to buy lumber. Ok did that well it was the wrong amount to start off. The wraps for lumber didnt fit. Now the bundles of wood. Great work. I want to shake hands with the person who thought it was a good idea to have the same cuts you will need mixed up in all bundles instead of bundled in sections you are working on. The instruction manual said the wood for the roof was interlocking in some way. Same thing with bolts and screws. Couldnt you just label the bags of what is what. The instruction manual said the wood for the roof was interlocking in some way. Well no it wasnt and to top it off most were warped or crooked in some way. Instructions were just ok to follow. I would have paid more for the lumber already wrapped with the wrap they provided. There are sooo many things that could be done to make this a better experience. Im just glad its over. For as much as was paid should have been better. Spend a little more to purchase a completed one from a specialized outfit.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by rckstdy omg directions and worksmanship lacking
mr vila, mr holmes . and ty with there crew couldnt put this thing together in 8 hrs. the flex braces just means it wont be straight and look professional. the so called pre drilled wood; is drilled but not for the part they tell you need.. directions hmm lacking good breakdown... I suggest you sort all .. wood , with hardware ... and good luck. hubby who used to build houses ground up including log cabins.. took one day to sort, and three or four to do.. and still has to buy some stuff due to make shift parts... very poor quality

Unless you have already put one of these together, plan 2 days for construction. There is a lot to assemble. The instructions are easy to follow. Some of the parts are not clearly labled. There was 1 part missing innthe kit we had to fabricated the part. Sorting the parts by number will help in finding the right part. It is very important to follow the measurements as per the instructions, When all is said and done, you will be happy with this purchase. Your kids will love it,

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tefour Great end product, getting there is tough
The instructions and grouping of materials were horrible, quality wasn't the greatest as a lot of the wood is soft and twisted, should have been better quality and predrilled for the money spent, also missing imperative pieces not shown as "purchased separately". Time consuming to build and plan, over all end product is good.
