I have used the mower 4 times now. I use it in the offset position behind another mower to increase cutting width. It cuts great as a finish mower, don't try to cut trails. It follows very nicely behind the pulling mower, even when turning. You don't need to swing wide, just remember which side its on. Great for getting under trees and bushes. The hitch is a little cumbersome, but I get that it has many adjustments to get your cut level. Assembly is pretty straightforward and easy. As stated in the description, it doesn't come with a battery. I got one at Tractor Supply. If the grass isn't too tall, I can mow about 2 acres on a tank of fuel.

Home Depot exceeded my expectations by delivering the mower to the store several days ahead of schedule. After getting the mower home and unpacking it, getting a new battery (not included) and setting everything up, the mower was completely dead when turning the key. I took the battery back and had it checked, it was good. I then called Swisher customer service and described what I had done to this point. The guy on the phone told me to call Briggs and Stratton. I once again explained it was an electrical problem not related to the engine. He finally gave me a number to an "Authorized Dealer" and in so many words said "good luck". After trying to reach the dealer for days by phone, I drove by the place and they were out of business. I called Swisher a second time and got a woman who told me a technician would call me back. They never did. Completely frustrated I decided to troubleshoot the problem myself. After many hours I found that the switch that prevents starting while the belts are engaged was about 2 inches from ever being engaged. Relocated the switch to proper location with trial and error. The mower finally made some noise when turning the key but didn't start. After some YouTube videos on mower repair I figured out the solenoid was bad. Even though this was a brand new mower and still under warranty I decided to bypass the Swisher Customer No-Service. I just paid for it myself and ordered the part directly from the Swisher website. After installing the new part the mower fired right up. I also had to connect the arm that engages the belt to the handle. Again it took some trial and error to get the right tension on the belt. After all the trouble at the beginning, the mower has worked wonderfully and I have used it 4 or 5 times. It handles tall and thick grass with relative ease. I gave the 2 stars because of the horrible customer service not because of the mower. I just hope I never have to have a warranty claim. I do not recommend this company or its products.

The most frustrating piece of equipment I still have not been able to use.
The instruction book is utterly useless and I had to go on the net to figure anything out.
The unit came crated which I think is the best and only thing positive about it.
The hitch pin/bar that connects to my ATV is the stupid thing I have ever seen. I tried to hook it up and there is so much leeway in-between the pin and the receiver hole that I think the thing will fall apart while I'm mowing.
The holes where you connect the bar to the mower are so far under the metal part that I couldn't get the back screw on......and still can't.
I understand I got an electric start for the mower, I didn't know the unit didn't come with a battery and that 4 stores didn't have the battery that was recommended in the ridiculous instruction book and I had to eventually get one ordered.
This unit has still not been used and not sure even if it runs and cuts grass if I will come back here and adjust the review.
Not happy at all with this product.
